Breakfast Topic: Grab it while you can {WoW}
Jun 29th 2010 8:35AM I recently grabbed Skull of Impending Doom. It's actually quite fun / usefull to use when running back after a wipe on raids or doing quests indoors.
As for the rest I'll be mostly working on some recipes and patterns from Dire Maul North, SIlithus and AQ20/40. Several of those recipes are outdated and I doubt they'll come back in Cata.

May 12th 2010 7:18AM Blink can work, but the mage needs to have Safe Fall casted on himself before being picked up by the Valkyr.
At least, that's what I've been told by some mage friends. Nobody is willing to risk a wipe to try it though. Bunch of pansies.
World of Warcraft Patch 3.2 Warlock Guide {WoW}
Aug 5th 2009 5:21AM I agree, Banish is a very welcome change. We use it constantly at Freya and Vezax trash and I guess people are getting sick of the countdown raidspam the locks now use so tanks can be ready when it breaks.
As for the other changes, Posts on EJ say the change to imp compensates for more then the loss in F&B so I'll just take their word for it.
I occasionally use Shadowflame in PvE as another instant when I need to run, but the hitrate is lower then 50% due to the crappy cone. Making it actually work might give me a bit more damage but it's still more novelty then actually usefull imo.
Breakfast Topic: Your Midsummer Fire Festival goals {WoW}
Jun 22nd 2009 8:14AM I'm a completist so I tend to go for both all achievements and all fancy items. As luck would have it on the Ahune kill where I got the achievement from I also got the enchant and the Scorchling pet.
Having all achievements I'll now just do the daily a few times to buy the brazier.
I do read all texts and enjoy lore, but to be honest I'm not impressed with the Midsummer stuff. Most other events have more lore and the events seem to more naturally follow from the lore.
Alt leveling will happen when I have the time for it, though this event seems to be the best alt-boost of all events. Shame it's only 1 week.
