There are already many utilities on paladins that are very useful but are overlooked because of the power of beacon/HL. I've never understood why so many paladins fail to have SS in their rotations. If they put it in there, I can have multiple HoTs going at once.
Beacon and HL is all well and good, but if you aren't using judgements, SS+FoL, and cleansing , hands of pro/salv, laying on hands, holy wrathing against undead and stunning as needed, then you aren't making the most out of your abilities. The goal is to beat bosses. Let other people worry about topping the meters, your goal as a healadin is to keep people alive and there are multiple utilities for doing so. FoL is underrated as it is thanks to large mana pools.
That's not to say you're not going to have to spam HL at some points due to excessive boss damages, but save it for when the boss is actually doing that damage and use FoL when it's not.
Get clcbpt to help keep track of everything.
There's more out there than the HL spam, learn to use it. I'm looking forward to the challenge of adding more utilities to an already abundant lineup.

Nice idea, but if they're going ahead with testing this system now they also need to implement the new loot rules. I believe the idea is for the two to go hand-in-hand.

No way does Cataclysm get released before 2011. There's no official release date, no indication of system requirements, and only four months left in the year, not to mention all the tuning that's going on in beta.
Releasing is before the end of the year at this point would equate to releasing it before it's really ready, something Blizzard has said will never happen.
Oh, but wait, they're a publicly traded company now. Everyone knows how those stockbuyers are so video-game savvy.

I think the question is worded wrong. Instead of "Is revealing your first and last names on the official forums a good idea?" it should be, "Is posting under your real name on the official forums a good idea?"

Insane in the Membrane most evil achievement. Agreed 100%. No points for completing it either, except for maybe getting The Exalted.
The one good thing I can say about the achievement though is that it's something you can do for something different and slowly work on. I've been working on it for about 10 months, so close to a year. Not shooting for it all at once, just if I feel like working on it for a little while.
It's kind-of peaceful actually, sorta like a different kind of fishing.

I spent a year dreading the school of hard knocks achievement, but I was surprised when I started it how easy it all was. The catch, in my opinion, is to do it on the first day it's available. The amount of people attempting it at the same time actually makes most of them easier.
The lone exception to that rule is probably Eye of the Storm. If you're not with several friends to assist you in getting that one, it's going to be very difficult. I lucked out getting it done.
I'll also say it gave me a new appreciation for the battlegrounds. Those places are pretty fun, especially when you have a PvP leader who knows what they're doing and guides the team to success.
I'm not sure about arena though. PvP just for PvP without another objective doesn't seem very interesting. Of course, I thought the same about the battlegrounds, so I could be wrong.

Tip for School of Hard Knocks-As children's week winds down, your chances of opposing factions assisting in completing the achievement decrease due to many players getting it done earlier in the week.

I am reserving judgement on this new raiding philosophy until I see what benefits my guild will receive in the new guild leveling system by completing 25-man raids.
