well im out g2g back to work
Jul 8th 2009 9:56AM "Nothing can make you feel lower than a Gnome Warlock than showing up in quest greens and blues"
I think i resent that remark......
lol jk great arcticle tho
Jul 7th 2009 3:20PM tony lama, justin, roper, heck even walmart brand i prefer to nike or addidas........Boots....say it with me.....
Boo-ts....cmon now your gettin it boots....try em they may not be "in" anymore but you dont have to worry about someone scuffin 'em or steppin in horse....um crap...
Jul 7th 2009 3:12PM I prefer my boots. If they can stand the test of my ranch they can stand the test of some convention(not going but still). IMO boots have some of the best long term protection and have the best fit allaround, boots=100% comfortability and support when you need it(and besides easyer on/off and no laces to get in the way). If they can handle a bronk or a bremmer then they can withstand the test of time IMO.But yea what he said you shouldnt have to waste time writing about shoes....if they can afford to get there just for a convention then i believe they will have comfortable shoes....(oh and house shoes work well to lmao) dont forget your toothbrush on account of havin to worry about your shoes lmao. yall have fun at blizzcon tho
Jul 7th 2009 11:53AM This is the way i think(even though most of the posters here dont),when you get to lvl 80 you should be able to handle it,you shouldnt have to have nick tell you to do it.He may not be good at raiding and he may not have a perfect round with his spells(not sayin he doesnt but maby either way),but how did he learn how to do it? Did he have to learn from reading Blood Pact?I highly doubt it,he probobly did a little net surfing and grinded on a dummy trying out different sets of spells, and has "tried" and probobly "wiped" a few times learning.Though i understand you dont want to fail where he did,and that you want him to spill the beans about it but what if he doesnt full know? You may know more than he does.(no offence nick just gettin into it) Why dont you comment a post about it?you are just as capable(arent you?shouldnt you be?anybody?).Im sure there is someone who reads all the posts and has mastered his sets on various raids(why dont you post it to help instead of waiting on someone eltse to),and im sure there is someone who has mastered all raids."Ask for help"....thats a good term to use in any situation, but there are some drawbacks, "ASK" dont insist if they want to tell you then they will if they dont they wont, "HELP" people help because they are trying to help someone who wants to know something they do or need assistance...so if someone helps then be kind and say thank youdont call them noob or w/e because they dont want to help just say ok thanks and walk off.It may be only a game but relate it to real life and it will be alot easyer to play and understand the personalities of it.You all ask Nick for advise on locks, why dont you look at the who list find a lvl 80 lock look him up in armory and ask him if he doesnt want to help (it may be because hes busy) then just say ok and repeat the process. You have a who list for a reason and a good reason is for that.I resently got my Felhunter(took me forever)i used quest helper and it was still being a pain, so i looked on the who list found a lock(who was very nice and helpful and were now friends) he told me exaclty were to go and what to do to finish the quest for the Felhunter and i thanked him graciously his responce my suprize some of you but there are kind people out there and they will help you....even if you are lvl 80.The hardest part about asking for help is not feeling weaker or less knowledgeable than who you ask but dont feel that way, they may have done it to or you may know something they dont. I know most of this seems meaningless but if you read it the correct way and think about it it is on subject.(it means you dont just have to ask Nick for lock advise, ask someone you know or even someone you dont know maby you will find what you need alot faster that way)anyways just think about it.
Jul 2nd 2009 2:49PM there yall wanted a post about the ptr and patch 3.2?
there it is theres wat you should do
Jul 2nd 2009 2:48PM Nick.......
I feel for you bro to have to listen to all their ranting.
Who realy cares about him writing an article about something that has been wrote about for the past 3 weeks? Why should he have to find the info, copy and paste(or type it in own words), and put it on here for you?You dont have the power to click "main" and find the thread yourself? If you dont like the way someone does his job,and you dont control his job, then why should you critisize him for doing it the way he does it.IMO(which realy doesnt matter to anyone) Nick does a knock-off job at Blood Pact(except it comes on random days lmao).
I dont believe he needs my defence to understand this but still im gonna say it because he kind of cant(editor prolly wont let him).Even tho its not wat you want to read you still read it none the less correct? Why?Its trash? No because its not what you were exactly looking for but you still choose to read it and post about it.Most of the people who post dont know a thing about 'locks IMO you just talk to be talking....Im only lvl 30 on my first toon and i know a great deal about my 'lock,i may not know wat my DPS output will be wen i set up my specs but i will soon find out....He doesnt realy talk about low level/newbie 'locks (which are the 1s who need it the most) but i think he is very informative. If tommorow he quit and they decided not to hire a new Blood Pact colomnist and they just wanted to close it then yall would be mad and griping.Everyone would be saying things like "what happened to Nick" and "He was a good informer" but while hes here all you do is critisize him. What did he do?Can anyone here answere that? He may not write everything you want to know but the next time your about to use your SS i bet you'll think twice. No matter how little you think his articles are worth you still learn from them.Ive went back and read ever post hes made since he started on Blood Pact and i have learned a little from each one.I may not have learned how to time the belt in my '67 camaro but thats not why i read it i read it to find out whatever i could about 'locks, nothing more.
sheesh if you want to know things look them up....it doesnt have to be in this article....do like you say alot of times....look in arcane brilliance or w/e....just bum off of him its not your place to critisize some1 you know nothing about other than reading this post every thursday(well......wenever he posts it lmao).
all im sayin is if you were in it you think youd write about something else....but you wouldnt you would write about wat needed to be and wat cant be found on other posts on the site....
sry Nick just kind of got tired of reading trash posts
Jul 2nd 2009 2:28PM @ BlackTiger
that is full on warlock thinking.....but raid thinking should be placed otherwize.....just because it happened once doesnt mean your luck will continue....what happens if every1 dies in the same aoe or near the same time? you gonna rez-and finish it urself without bieng able to summon your minion because ur under heavy fire?
Jul 2nd 2009 2:19PM yea i love my lock but i hate hearing "weres the mage"...then a reply "we dont have one"....then back "but i saw flames"...............
Jul 2nd 2009 2:12PM diff color flames should be more of a right than a privledge it should be like our calling card...
