WoW in the running for Game of the Decade {WoW}

Dec 7th 2009 11:50PM To everyone who might not know what Shadow of the Colossus is- the game is a sequel to another game called Ico (never played it but heard it's pretty good too). The game takes place in some forgotten kingdom where the main hero must fight various monsters to save the princess (I may have forgotten something lol, it's been years since I've last played it). Anyways, you fight a certain number of bosses (no in between monsters or other baddies btw) all across the land which you find by your magic sword. Now, these bosses are HUGE, some approaching the size of a mountain. Yet somehow, you always manage to find some way to climb atop the huge colossus and do some damage with your puny little sword. The game mechanics are all pretty amazing, and a lot of the fun comes from just exploring all the areas that you come across. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes interesting lore, exploring vast open landscapes, and taking down 200 ft bosses.

Oct 3rd 2009 1:50AM What?!? Nerf PALLYS?!!!! The most UN-played, LEAST appreciated class in the entire game that just completelty SUCKS at pvp even with their god boubles and Insta-Stuns? You've got be kidding me, why would Blizz ever nerf a class that so clearly is underperforming compared to every other class in the game???? Oh wait, you're talking about PALLYS...

Ghostcrawler on balancing and the community reaction {WoW}

Sep 14th 2009 6:50PM Hmmm, my opinion on arena..... First off, I think Blizz messed up a ton last seaason what with the nerfs to the 2v2 brackets. It gets really annoying to have built up a great arena rating with a RL friend, only to find out you can only get the best gear through 3v3 and 5v5. Furthermore, there is a major problem I'm seeing with arena teams lately. In 2v2 it is possible with a good enough team of 2 dps to reach high ratings if your good enough without healers, albeit very difficult if you can't lockdown the enemy healer. Now, come 3v3 and 5v5. I was shocked to find out that most teams here had at least one healer per team, as all-dps teams are completely unviable for the sometimes long and grueling fights that can go on in these larger matches. I found it amazing that a healer could easily heal through 2 dps wailing on him/her without breaking a sweat, especially with res gear on!!! To me, it seems that healing in arena has gotten a little to far ahead of the dps taking place. It also places classes without some form of mortal strike at an extreme disadvantage as well since the heals can out pace the dps by so much. I would like to see a few revisions to a lot of the pvp side of pvp healing, preferably without too much damage done to pve healing (although that most likely wouldn't happen unfortunately)
