i'd like to submit that while /you/ may not find this topic appealing, other people do. we're glad you voiced your opinion, but try and leave the name-calling out, next time?
and while we're about it, try not to make assumptions for other people, also?
Mar 26th 2012 10:39AM i wish more games would allow me to make the character i really like, which is the fat, wizardly sort. giant beard and big belly and thick arms and so on.
i've never played a female unless i've had no choice, [gender locked classes, i'm looking at you.] and will ostensibly never play one, even if given the option.
i'm not fond of the beefcake at all, and i wish it would die a hurried death and that we could get over the entire chain mail bikini thing, too, while we're about it.
Mar 22nd 2012 12:40PM i'm not fond of free-to-play at all.
but this is great news. i will definitely give it a try, now.
Mar 19th 2012 12:16AM then he needs to LISTEN MORE.
especially about the dlc.
Mar 12th 2012 4:39PM @Delillo this is exactly it.
i kind of wish that designers would just build the game that makes the most sense for /them/ to build, and not tack other things on.
for example, if you're making a pve game, you should never then think, "well i can draw the pvp crowd, if...."
your design never initially catered for it. shoehorning it in later just messes it up for the core audience that are there for the things you initially designed.
i don't like pvp, but it has a right to exist. i just wish that developers would decide, early on: "is my game pvp or pve? if it's pvp, i shouldn't even /go/ the route of pve at all."
Mar 12th 2012 9:43AM i know i'm going to get downvoted to the ground for this.
but i dislike pvp with a passion.
balance for pve, please, and don't tack on pvp at all :P
that is all.
Feb 17th 2012 5:46AM when i saw the headline, i just burst out laughing.
my god, ea are breaking the camel's back.
Feb 15th 2012 3:29AM yeah. i'm in south africa.
we're still waiting.
thanks, bioware. :)
at this point, i'm not even inclined to buy the box anymore. i'll just wait for guild wars two, or something else to pique my interest.
i was in the last open beta and was having a good time, but the way they're treating "the world" other than na/eu has just made me shrug and be indifferent.
Feb 14th 2012 12:58PM IT'S THE INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY.
sigh. get it right :P
Feb 14th 2012 12:07PM is there any way to get the /very/ old wowinsider podcasts?
i looked back at the blog and it points to itunes. i downloaded itunes and did a bit of a search, but couldn't get anything past the last twelve or so podcasts.
thankyou, in advance for any answers you folks might happen to have.
