feel free to MASSIVELY DOWNVOTE the second one.

Jan 30th 2012 11:38AM not that i was going to play tera, but i think the bigger problem here is how we translate what en masse said. which basically amounts to:
"hi, criminals, please get off our lawn."
well, gee. i've never once botted or bought gold, or sold gold in an mmo. nor have i exploited, or item duplicated or any of those things.
you know what, en masse? even if you did change your stance, now, out of principle, i would never give you money, because, of course, my money that i make, in a legitimate job, is, you know, all gained through criminal means.
Jan 28th 2012 9:19AM other people in random dungeons/raids.
more specifically, other people who are so self-centred that they roll need for things they don't actually need [it's a purple! and a rare! and a boe! must sell on the ah!]
random person: waaaah! you're such a bad player, your dps is 9k. get out of my random!
...wait a second. i'm not like the mage, who's dying in void zones, am i?
you say you need mana and the tank's just pulling? here's an innervate.
oh dear. man down? i guess i'll combat ressurrect them.
really. i wish blizzard would give me npc's at this point, so i wouldn't have to deal with the other random people who think /i'm/ a npc.
Aug 8th 2011 1:19PM thankyou, beau.
i really appreciate that this game got a chance at a second life - so few games are shelved for good and then never bought back - it's a rare treat to see a fan-favourite like this one bought back from the brink.
and i am very glad you spent some time exploring it again and making your views public.
i am, however, not likely to go back to the game for a handful of simple reasons:
primarily, the facebook issue is a thorny one for me. while, yes, you can set it to private, the fact that it is facebook and that facebook is "the in thing" now is frustrating. what are the new owners going to do when facebook is no longer the "in thing?"
second to this, i'm not really happy with the new models. yeah, i realize that the new owners are shooting for a broader audience, but the whole thing just looks too much like the models are very young, very japanese kid-type animals.
along with this, i'm with your wife. i want my bear back, too. i get that they want to make money - and i get that selling races is one way to do it, but this simply kills one of the parts that was good about this game: the customization. the fact that it had twenty two races that weren't gated right out the door probably sold it to many.
ah well. i do wish them much luck. my comments aside, here, i am completely happy they bought the game back.

yeah. this drives me completely crazy, too.
when i click on the link of the game, i expect to...go to the link of the game. isn't that how html is supposed to work?!
Aug 7th 2011 4:45AM except we're all forgetting that it's actiblizz now.
