My Warrior in all ilvl 264+ gear (Sanctified T10 and up) has replaced a lot of his gear in just Vash'jir, at only level 81.

He actually answered his question perfectly.
Currently on beta mount training costs 4g -> 50g -> 250g -> 5000g -> then finally another 5000g to upgrade from 280% to 310%
The upgrade is pro-active, yes if you collect a 310% mount after the release, your 280% to 310% upgrade will be free.
Blizzard has accounted for the fact new worgen and goblin alts will not have had a chance to collect a 310% mount before cataclysm release.

Jun 12th 2010 6:29AM I understand your Cynicism of the question at hand, but i think the main point was that Fury Warriors only have that one sort-of-AoE-but-not really ability and it has an 8 second cool down, so therefore should be treated differently.
Equally whirlwind hits only four targets, the question writer was asking why a so-so AoE ability is being thrown in the same pile as a True-AoE ability. Your only legitimate example then is Chain Lightning, which is also a semi-AoE ability.
As for Consecration an 8 second AoE with an 8 second cooldown, is hardly a fair example.
