Gold Capped: The Undermine Journal {WoW}

Jul 15th 2010 8:17AM Day traders... Blizzard now has Day Traders...

New scam tries to give you a free Celestial Steed {WoW}

Jul 13th 2010 2:08PM Goddess I want an edit button. For heavens sake don't click the link in the above email. It goes to a phishing site I'm sure.. though I haven't clicked it

-sighs because it got put up and very sorry-

Breakfast Topic: Which in-game art would you update? {WoW}

Jul 13th 2010 8:10AM Please goddess, may they find the time to update all the original races and bring them up to Draenei and Belf at least. Realize however Goddess, if they surpassed the Drae and Belf.. I would not be upset at all.

The Daily Blues {WoW}

Jul 13th 2010 7:54AM I have so considered the same thing.. but, she's got so much and I've been going back and soloing a bit of the lower dungeons. Hmm if her mining and skinning wasn't up there and if my alch (yeah she's a hunter also.. what can I say.. harvest while the pet fights ) didn't enjoy transmuting all the saronite she brings in .. -sigh- ehh maybe just a worgen hunter for the compromise.

Breakfast Topic: Way better than my first time {WoW}

Jul 10th 2010 8:23AM I respect ya.. but yes you're crazy. I'm working on several alts, in fact my orc shaman has taken precedent over my hunter at 74. I admit it, I love the shammy more.

I tried to go the route that you are taking and found I just don't have the patience to do it. Good luck...

The Daily Quest: Burning out {WoW}

Jun 25th 2010 11:07AM Burnout.. so there. My cure? My old dog and I go walk a mile everyday.. whether we want to or not. (well I want to but it's him that has to have that long of a walk. Ever try to tell a 15 yr old dog it's for his own good? )

I read the article here about crafting and thought about it seriously. I realized that I was so far from self sufficient that I could be an entire co-dependency group.

I broke out the boa's I'd been collecting and made a few alts, leaving just enough room for that Worgen I want to play. Crafting has saved the day.. got an 80 mage, (tailoring) a 73 hunter (alch at 450.. someone tell me how you can get to 450 at lvl 73 on something besides skinning and mining and herbing? ) 58 dk for engineering and 4 others around 20ish who are filling the other slots.

Even made a cow though I hate them.. love druid.. hate cow for some reason.. but that could have just been getting from 1-20. (Tauren starting area sucks lemons imo)

I found out that it's fun, it's easy and relaxing. I am still so burnt out on raiding it's not funny.. therefore I just don't do it.. not even the daily pugs for frost. I am returning to casual and finally remembered something I knew when I started playing.

It's a game, it's supposed to be fun. So dang it.. have fun, see the sights you've forgotten about and just gooooo with the flow of sightseeing. If I level along the way well Woot for me!

Call for submissions: Fill our cup with new Breakfast Topics {WoW}

Jun 16th 2010 7:16AM 350 am.. 10 min to dailies.. crap.. get the coffee going.. let the puppy out then get him settled while I fly to the tourny. Sigh as I fly over all the ore.. mental note to wake myself up at 330.

Giggle at the pup.. glance at the coffee pot.. hmmm pup goes back outside.. first cig of the morning.. yeah I'm almost ready for the day to start.. head back in Coffee is done FINALLY.

Fill the big 32 ouncer.. sip, sit and dig into the morning's adventures.

so yep.. chaos and coffee and cig.. that's my choice of condiments for wow.

(LOL so kidding.. but hmm not about the coffee.. never abuse the coffee god!!)

Scattered Shots: Pistols for hunters? {WoW}

Jun 10th 2010 5:57PM LOL I had this thought a LONG time ago. Add a "dustcoat" to tailoring.. Hunters would adore them, probably DK's also.

Add pistols.. one handed weapon.. carry two.

Leatherworking: Holster belt.

Dual wield Crossbows.
Dual wield "rifles" (repeater Winchesters IS possible in the real world)

For the piece d' resistance: LW Mail wide brimmed hat.

Any of the above, excellent. All of the above Priceless

-sigh- then the world would be over run with huntards but it would so be worth it

Breakfast Topic: Dealing with unpleasant players {WoW}

Jun 8th 2010 8:40AM Ahhh, hate to say this but we're call huntards no matter what we do. No, I don't do stray shots, yes I am focused on the tank and on the right mobs (unless the healer gets in trouble... then it's "Save the healer Save the world" time.)

5400 gs, 3-5k dps, pet's growl is off.. and I got screamed at because I changed target to save the healer.

I just take a deep breath.. figure someone's had a real bad day in gym class and move along. Just remember to bring a stack of heal and mana potions.. Idiots being idiots, they did try to 'let' me die. I just didn't give them the satisfaction and well.. the healer didn't mind the save -winks-

Breakfast Topic: Dealing with unpleasant players {WoW}

Jun 8th 2010 8:28AM I try not to turn into an a@@.. I really do. But I will come to the defense of another person in the run. I'm a old grandma.. I can take it, most likely heard it all before.

However, if the person who is getting harassed has been on the mark.. doing their best.. I usually use one of two lines to shut the jerks up pretty quickly:

1- Hmm someone have a bad day in gym class and feeling a bit insecure? (works every time.. I mean they usually can't figure out what I mean.. but they " think" they've been insulted.

2- Much harsher and can't go on here and used only in dire times.
