Dec 28th 2009 7:25AM All the World's a Stage,
and all the orcs and humans merely players.
They have their stories and their characters;
and one player in his time plays many roles.
His acts being 80 levels. At first the newbie,
Mewling and puking in the Goldshire's arms.
And then the growing adventurer, with his satchel
And shining FlagRSP face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to Stormwind. And then the RP lover,
Sighing like furnace, with an epic tale
Made to his friends' eyebrows. Then a soldier,
Full of storylines and played to the death
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the fantastic RP
Even in the realm's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good backstory lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Roleplaying in these modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful guild, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big epic mount,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans David.
Thank you, good sir, for being an inspiration. You will be missed. Here's hoping you return to guide all of the fresh faces to RP in the future!
Sep 9th 2009 10:58AM That was awesome, and reminds me of the newest iteration of Davros from the last series of Doctor Who:
"This is my ultimate victory, Doctor! The destruction...of reality...ITSELF!"
Jul 26th 2009 8:12AM I'd personally like to see some more goblin lore. Whilst I don't altogether like the idea of them as a playable race, I think it would be cool to see the world of Undermine, or Kezan, and something along those lines. Come to think of it, there are a load of places from vanilla WoW that could be explored...Uldum would be a cool dungeon with more titan-related stuff, and as for Grim Batol...dragon slaying, anyone? In my opinion, Deathwing should be the final boss, but maybe we just un-corrupt him rather than kill him.
Oh, and pony mounts. Ghostcrawler promised.
Jun 30th 2009 11:10AM Hmm, like that opening bit. Garrosh and Varian are BOTH sons of motherless ogres.
