Aug 4th 2011 8:00PM @Alph I've gotten into several "friends and family" alpha/beta tests without having any connections to the devs. By the time games get to online testing phase they are feature-locked, so basically just load stability, game balancing, and bug hunting are the only real feedback they are looking for.
Jul 9th 2011 1:56PM Note to game developers: If you want to sell a game on PC, don't add Games for Windows Live.
Jul 2nd 2011 1:10AM Microsoft really needs to hire people that have a clue. They really have no idea how to sell or market PC games.
Jun 17th 2011 10:46AM @Dance Mofo I'd rather have the larger matches that feel like a real war with room to maneuver and not being funneled into a meat grinder.
Jun 14th 2011 2:36PM Yeah the mighty haxx0rz use their power to shut down video game sites. All they are doing this last week is stirring up the hornet's nest and going to get many more people looking for them.
Jun 13th 2011 1:24PM Homefront isn't in the top 20 most played on XBL and has less than 1k players per day on Steam even with 2.6 million copies sold. Kaos failed to properly support the game at launch, and couldn't even kick known cheaters off the PC leaderboards (or even in the game) a month later. If you are a game developer you have two to three weeks max after launch to build a player base and keep it.
Jun 2nd 2011 10:57AM @goozira It's broken, hence the one L.
May 31st 2011 10:20AM The review failed to mention boobs.
May 29th 2011 7:22PM Microsoft has actually done this before, regardless of whether this current story is false or not. I actually know someone who was busted years ago for trying to hack them and and ended up getting hired on in their QA department.
May 28th 2011 7:30PM @Nergy Oops, the only time I ever heard of Roy G. Biv was in Paranoia. Guess I need to lern2rainbow.
