Feb 10th 2011 3:27AM Hate to burst everyone's bubble, but this is not as good as it seems. It's quite laggy, but the worst part is that it's really hard to control (still haven't figured out how to land a flying mount :P). If you just want to run around in Org or SW this app is fine, but doing anything else in the game is really difficult.
This is not an entry for the contest since I obviously already have the app. (It's also quite cheap from the app store if anyone still want to check it out and don't win the contest).
Feb 4th 2010 11:53AM Imo this isn't about if Ensidia knew or not. It's still Blizzard who made the mistake. Sure, Ensidia shouldn't get a valid world first when using an exploit, but banning them just seems too much. I don't really like MuQQ's post, but I agree on one thing: Blizzard should have tested it better, making sure things like this couldn't happen.
Nov 26th 2009 9:15AM When it comes to WoW, above all I'm thankful for all the nice people I've met along the way. It wouldn't be anything without them. And I must also say that I'm thankful that the people at Blizzard. Sure, they sometimes make changes we disagree with, but all in all I think they are doing a really good job.
Nov 25th 2009 10:29AM The way I read the question was "what do you do when your server is down, when you were planning to play". I don't think most of these answers means that people only do real life things when their server is down. I have a schedule much like Legance with time to study, work out, see my friends, and play. The only reason it's a bit annoying for me if the server is down is because I most likely haven't got time to play later.
Nov 25th 2009 10:03AM I run around in a frenzied state of panic ;)
Nah, actually I just go do real life stuff. Clean or something. Or in the unlikely event that there is nothing that needs to be done around the house, I read blogs and check out stuff on youtube. If the downtime isn't planned and I expect my realm to be up soon, I am guilty of checking back quite often, though.
Nov 24th 2009 8:59AM I'd love to have this one :)
Nov 23rd 2009 8:46AM It's so adorable :)
Sep 11th 2009 6:13PM For a while there was a blank Darkmoon Faire tab under world events in the achievement window. Guess it was just a mistake, but it might indicate that they have plans for it. I hope they do something cool with it, I've always loved the Faire. I still go sometimes, though I have nothing to do there, except buying frogs ;)
Aug 17th 2009 9:18AM Thought about it for some time, since I don't like spending even more money on WoW than I already am. But I ended up buying it, as I didn't want to regret it afterwards (as I do with the TBC collector's edition). Mostly for the pet, but I am also looking forward to watching the stream.
Aug 17th 2009 4:10AM I cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I've lost my father, and I know how painfull it is.
"the power to reflect the world through a new lens and understand it in a new way"
This is exactly how I feel about WoW, couldn't have said it better. And this is what so many people don't understand. The people who claim computer games are a waste of time, while spending most of their time watching TV or something.
This is a truly beautiful article. I rarely post comments here, but I had to do it on this one. You are absolutely right, this is what WoW is supposed to be about. If one day your children are looking through your things, I hope they will find this article.
