Breakfast Topic: The alt before the storm {WoW}

Aug 28th 2010 3:02PM P.S. In response to people not liking heirlooms: I leveled all of my toons without out them. Between the armor repair costs and having to constantly try and upgrade, I'd much rather try and level with ease or feel OP if that's possible starting at the earliest of levels. 1900 champion's seals here I come!

Breakfast Topic: The alt before the storm {WoW}

Aug 28th 2010 1:04PM I plan on rolling horde. Don't worry as it stands I already have ten alliance on one server all over 70. I'm gonna try and get them all to level cap before cataclysm and stock up on as many heirlooms as I can grind out. Come cataclysm I'm gonna send one of my toons to another server horde side with the heirlooms and likely play nothing but casually all expansion. I'll likely roll an alliance warlock to replace the toon I send as I haven't leveled one yet and to check out alll the new questing alliance side.

Breakfast Topic: Does gender influence class choice? {WoW}

Aug 27th 2010 11:53AM I find the poll results to be quite interesting in that they would seem to mirror my trending exactly.

Men paladin, druid, shaman, warrior, death knight, priest, mage, hunter, rogue, and then warlock

Druid was my first class which I chose because it was a tough looking night elf dude in a robe. I'm a vegetarian and nature lover and it fit. I went feral with him and he was my first 70. My next two 70s were paladin and shaman. I love melee. So much so I rolled my lolret prior to their being buffed into anything viable just because I liked the prospect of the an instant 2H attack + self heals.

I liked my fury warrior all except for his lack of survivability leveling and didn't get him past 60 untill WoTLK. I rolled and dug my DK as blood thanks to their awesome solo survivability and simple rotation. priest was my first 80 as I HAD to get the ulduar tier set to cover up my ugly human's face and look cool at the same time. =) he's now been benched. While I don't mind healing when things go somewhat easily I don't like the potential stress at all and would prefer a role like single-target tanking over it. DPS is almost always my first choice.

I have no warlock and my hunter, rogue, mage and two druids (one feral, one balance) are just at 70 or above. I lost a lot of interest in my feral druid just prior to wrath with the talent tree changes but would love to get back to him.

-straight male P.S. I've always said casters are for women.

Argent Tournament gains will not transfer between factions {WoW}

Sep 11th 2009 5:47PM ROFLMAO @ "can't find a way to do it technically"

quite simply More time played is more money gained. I just don't get their choosing to bullshit the point as though we're idiots. They don't want the game to be too easy even though easy when in reference to this game should be a hugely debated argument at least between the fanbase and the devs or should i maybe say those pulling the strings of said devs.

for the record I've leveled 10 toons to 70+ (including one DK from 55 to 70 something and one to 80 before i deleted him to make the 70 something i only counted one in the ten as they're all on one server.) I've of course leveled many upon many professions (not one is a pure gatherer and only have one of every gathering type except a miner of which I have two.) not to mention the countless professions I maxed before unlearning and moving to a toon I though would beneift more from it or the like.

Granted now (or in a year?) blizzard is planning on implementing great profession leveling ease and I'l benefit both in future leveling of my current toons and any 10 horde alts i plan on making once i can collect enough heirloom gear.

the tournament Qs can be a bitch. I feel like the people behind the scenes are punking out on the fanbase (yet again?)

Breakfast Topic: What do you think of new race and class combos? {WoW}

Aug 24th 2009 4:01PM "LOLore" that's hot. I think it'd make a great tauren pally name for sure.

Breakfast Topic: What do you think of new race and class combos? {WoW}

Aug 24th 2009 3:43PM @jealouspirate

80-85 = 5 new levels. hence their not saying 'zones'.

race changing my human priest to gnome finally. hate human models so may very steer clear of worgen unless you *can* stay out of human form at all times. maybe oly as a druid?

would be nice if they upped the character-per-server-cap by a little thoguh i doubt it'll happen. still have had ten toons since before wrath and had to delete my lock when it hit thanks to blizz's claims of dk's not taken up a character slot which obviously ended up not being the case. anyway going to roll a goblin lock to get my ten horde rolling ...already have ten allies under my belt.

Breakfast Topic: I rolled a Belf, and I think I liked it {WoW}

Aug 4th 2009 2:13AM I have played both. I only play alliance (with ten toons alliance on one server {everything but lock). I'd like to roll ten horde toons once 3.2 hits and I can send heirlooms to the other side via faction change and such. I REALLY like both factions.

I first played a night elf druid (rolled three times, twice as feral once as balance and now have one of each). My second toon was a troll shaman. Loved him and miss him. I dislike a few races of each faction I'd say. I don't like humans (male at least though females run like they're somewhat crippled)) . I don't like undead (just plain gross.) but I heart just about every other race of each faction. I love tauren, Orcs, trolls. gnomes, dwarves. I like night elfs but a lot of stupid people play them i believe. I originally seriously disliked Belfs but now i think i'd choosethem when rolling a caster. maybe an orc warlock i dunno.

anyway each race class and faction is just what you make of it some people catch small things they dont like others ignore or never notice em. somethings may make you more likable to all or less likable to some. i like variety and have rolled 1 human who i still have and would probably roll one undead just for the sake of doing so. i find it funny that undead and humans are so closely tied when thinking about the fact that they're my two least favorite.

The Queue: Crossroads {WoW}

Jul 6th 2009 11:19PM the trinket that summons gnomes is from Zul'Aman I believe second to last boss or the like. Possibly Zul'Gurub but fairly certain It's ZA. The trinket linked summons three humans I do believe.

How the 3.2 Emblems changes will affect the game {WoW}

Jul 6th 2009 6:42AM @ Elo "Why don't spend your limited playtime running a 25 man once a week instead of leveling alts and talking about Chuck Norris in trade."

Because Leveling 'alts' is where it's at. And just like your raiding it takes serious effort. I see people with shiny 280% mounts everyday and want one and people probably wonder why I don't have one ...The reason is I've spent what you spent for that mount several times over buying the other mounts for 10 toons. EFFORT. And without AH price gouging I might add. Have just about every blue I've seen drop in one of my toons banks somewhere. Greens disenchanted or vendored.

@Dartkun "The reason people are mad is because it simply is not fair to nerf the amount of effort just to "make things more accessible".

With 3.2 and before I'm going to have to / have had to deal with the same thing. Raided BC pre raid / heroic nerfs on two toons geared well enough to get into the next tier except for having my toon of choice feral tank thrown completely off balance in conjunction with the release of the newest content. So I thought I'd have a failsafe should the same thing ever happen again in the form of other classes to fall back on. Anyway So yeah expansion came out and all of a sudden everyone could level 10-20% faster (?) and without the stress of having to constantly upgrade gear as they leveled. I didn't complain, should i roll ten horde I'll enjoy the benefit myself. When you people realize the benefit and ease of alts, you'll be doing so faster and cheaper (a HELL OF A LOT CHEAPER) than I did. again not complaining rolling horde I could benefit from this. And like that when all the current end game content goes sour for you and you want to level alts you'll be happy not to rely on RNG or loot allocation for SOME of the best gear.

I really don't want to count but will 60% mounts x 9 100% mounts x 9 flying REG x 4 the prices of which will all be reduced substantially next patch.

So I have a complaint after all my TG warrior feels like he's DW 2h nerf bats even though in actuallity they're deep thunder and stormherald with other higher end gear including swiftsteel shoulders ...tell me that's fair, that my level 68 balance druid likely out dps' him.

Patch 3.2 PTR: Finding the Raptor Pets {WoW}

Jul 6th 2009 5:31AM my vote for would be for a sporelok "pet" ...of course they should have been included in childrens week like the wolvar and gorlocs are as killing em in for a drop makes their situation worse ...i'd probably do it though
