Sep 27th 2010 3:00PM I was on the PTR yesterday, and as of that time anything sold by the Wintergrasp vendors is now available for the new honor point currency. And unlike with some of the PvE emblem items, seem to cost exactly the same after the conversion.
Meaning a heirloom that cost 200 stonekeeper shards, now cost 320 honor points, which is exactly how much you'll get from 200 stonekeeper shards after the conversion.
Sep 15th 2010 1:30PM I'm wondering about this myself. The reason the honor cap is currently 75k is because it's awarded from so many different things. From a few points for a single honor kill, to 4000+ at a time for a single Wintergrasp win.
Since just one of the new honor points will be worth so much more than a current honor point, exactly how much will we be awarded for smaller things like an honor kill, or a win in a lower bracket battleground?
And for that matter, how much will the lower bracket PvP rewards cost after the conversion? (I love leveling alts through battlegrounds). Maybe they won't even be worth buying anymore, since old world quest rewards are being retuned?
Aug 24th 2010 11:40AM Well, to me Multi-Shot will never be a true AoE because it needs a target. And launching a trap triggers a cooldown on that trap, and still requires a target to trigger it first. I PvP a lot, and I use Volley frequently to root out stealthers (along with flare). I also use it to help hold chokepoints in AV.
Having an AoE ability you can aim where you'd like, with no cooldown, is pretty awesome in PvP. I don't see Hunters having anything to replace that, though we don't know yet what the new Multi-Shot will look like. But we do have flare and track hidden, so perhaps Blizzard feels it's use is overpowered in PvP too. Funny though, that they felt it needed to be buffed at the start of WotLK.
Either way I'll miss it.
