Oct 15th 2010 1:20PM I for one love this week's letter. I think that the level of tolerance and acceptance in game shows the maturity level of most players. Because of the anonymity we have in game, a good number of people feel that they have the right to be jerks and exhibit the type of behavior that is not always socially acceptable.
However, this does NOT give them the right to force a person to stop being who they are. To all those people that have commented with the advice to "just don't talk in vent"; while it may be a viable solution, if this person enjoys communicating over vent instead of typing then they should be able to do so without fear of being judged, insulted, or ridiculed. Don't forget that the social aspect of the game is what attracts a lot of people, and they should be able to play without having to hide.
Aug 23rd 2010 8:56PM @Unhunted I was afraid that's what you were referring to. Shane's right in it being an Indiana Jones reference which was used in Dogma. Even though I appreciate the reference in Dogma, it didn't quite have the humorous impact as it did in the Last Crusade.
Aug 23rd 2010 2:12PM It's been a very long time since I've seen Dogma so I must have missed the reference. Can you refresh my memory please.
Aug 6th 2010 1:06PM There once was a prophet named Velen
Who took all his people a sailin'
at the end of the trip
he crash landed his ship
and yet not one survivor's complaining
Jun 1st 2010 2:55PM And another 15 pages of them standing there squatting and yelling "Grrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" as they power up?
May 27th 2010 3:23PM That's no ordinary rabbit. That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on! Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!
May 11th 2010 8:46PM I'm kind of glad that it was taken down from the site. A few leaks are fine but what MMO was revealing to the public was the equivalent of a dam bursting and flooding the masses with information. The people at MMO had to have known the risk in posting those pictures and such on their site. I'm actually surprised no action was taken sooner.
The only thing I can think of was Boubouille eluding Blizzard's legal team by jumping out of a dam spillway into a river a la Fugitive style.
Mar 30th 2010 1:46PM No whammy no whammy no whammy no whammy STOP!!!!!! Did I win????
Mar 12th 2010 5:20PM I agree with Lissanna. The only time I really worry about spamming Nourish is in very rare cases when I'm in a raid without a holy pally or priest and there's massive raid damage going on (decimate on Stinky and Precious or Festergut's Pungent Blight for example). But even then I only cast Nourish 2 or 3 times at the most to help out the resto shaman who is bringing the tanks back up.
The point is if you have your HoTs properly applied then you don't really need to be using Nourish or HT unless certain dire situations arise.
Mar 12th 2010 4:37PM oops that was meant to be a reply to Eyhk in his response to my comment
