Nov 8th 2009 9:25AM So this WILL be cross-server? I really am anticipating bringing my wow addiction to a whole new level. I wonder what happens if you and your buddy start a pug, it fills up and you hit the instance only to have someone leave to: a) "gotta take dogs out" b) "have to go eat dinner" or c) "your tank is only in blues? Im outta here."
So question is: Do you have to disband and start all over again? Or does Auto-Pug kick in and fill in the missing spot?
Nov 7th 2009 5:06PM Great! Can't wait for 3.3. Three of us spent an hour this morning trying to find a freakin' dps for Shadowfang Keep! Please, 3.3, drop sooooon!!!
Nov 5th 2009 3:09PM I am sure I am not the only one who HAS to pug because I am not in a big raiding guild. No matter what LFG system, people like me will have to deal with potential jerks, ninjas, and undergeared players. BIG DEAL! Get over yourselves. Some of you probably are elite players who put in 80 hours of wow a week. This new possible LFG setup is great for those of us who maybe put in 40 hours a month (at most!).
Nov 5th 2009 8:48AM I'd feel better if 90-100% of the profits went to charity. Blizz makes enough as it is.
Nov 4th 2009 7:02AM What is that a screen shot from? The guy with the mask holding the magnums?
Nov 2nd 2009 7:59AM I bought the sword for my mage because of the plate Helm jealousy, for 100g. But with 3 80s and over 120 runs, I did not see the mount ONCE. Not even on the 31st (everyone in my groups thought that MAYBE Blizz would bump up the drop rate on this special night, but no!) I ran Direbrew and saw the mounts drop almost every other day. What gives? And having the rings drop EACH TIME on the HH were almost an insult- rather he drop nothing at all. Maybe a pair of dirty socks just to break the monotony? All eight of my toons have the helm and squashling (available by trick or treating @ the inn). Surely the drop rate could be bumped up for the mount, especially for those of us who have stuck with Blizz for many years.
Oct 30th 2009 3:44PM The whole cross realm LFG was the best part of the "new interface". Removing the cross realm capability sucks. Now casual players on servers with low to medium populations get to wait in groups of 3 or 4 for healers and tanks for an hour before disbanding...just like before! Way to cave into the whiners, Blizz. "Oooh no cross-realm ninjas" (um, easy fix...everyone NEED).
Oct 29th 2009 5:53PM I don't think I've seen a hunter on a raid in almost a year. Hunters are good for RP, that's about it. Too many of them get passed over because of noob hunters keeping their pets on aggro after fights and drawing mobs when everyone's distracted by post fight things.
Oct 24th 2009 7:20AM Want to reduce lag in Dalaran? Don't allow ground mounts. Period. You can run your toon around in a full lap in under a minute. Easy fix. You can always show off your motorcycle/bear/elephant/etc. in battlegrounds. KK?
Oct 22nd 2009 8:01AM I think this is a GREAT idea. As a casual player with a full-time job and family and a DPS toon, I just don't have the patience to join a guild and get to know them (turnover, the cliques, etc). I just want to play, not chat or try to figure out inside jokes that are being exchanged. So this new LFG interface will be a bigtime bonus for me. I just would want there to be some kind of failsafe to make sure my mage is not the best geared group member drawing aggro with arcane missles from a tank still in all blues. I'm tired of getting shut out of instances because my group can't find a healer or tank that night, or the tank or healer leaves for a party that is "RTG". This will be a definite light at the end of my wow tunnel.
