Feb 7th 2012 12:50PM Is the Celt civ actually out now or is this just a new video? Seems like Celts have been in a state of "coming soon" for several months already.
Jun 16th 2011 12:41PM I don't know. Hearing the same old joke with the same old punchline gets kind of... old.
Oh look, they're furries. Yeah. I get it. How clever.
Jun 15th 2011 4:58PM You know, it might just be a persona thing to fit with the theme of the video but I really like a woman who can put herself out there with minimal makeup, jeans, and just a plain shirt. Too many girls think they need to put on a facade in order to be beautiful, and that's just wrong.
Apr 27th 2011 2:38PM I think you're missing what parody really is. There's no sarcastic mimicry, no comic jabs, no real irony there. Most of your lyrics are identical to the original, where a true parody would be trying to alter the message in a way that sends up the original or spoofs the recording artist. This is much closer to a cover than a parody since it's just a carbon copy of an already trite pop tune, just with some calamari chin flavor sprinkled on top.
Not to take anything away from your vocal talents. You're obviously doing something right there. I'm not saying it's easy to make a good parody either. I just don't think this really qualifies. It seems like you really just tried very hard to sound as much like that Katy Perry song as you could so, since I don't really appreciate Ms. Perry's music at all, music that sounds just like hers doesn't really get much appreciation either.
Apr 27th 2011 12:46PM The lyrics were just... quality.
Gotta get down with Drae-nei
Fun. Fun. Fun. Fun.
Apr 12th 2011 3:15PM I know they say that language is a constantly evolving system, but why do people always try to make it evolve in ways that make them sound like idiots?

You speak in absolutes and the tone of your OP certainly suggests a very specific personality type is required for the role. IME, the "dictator" raid leader is quite often a raging bastard. You don't generally get to be a dictator if that's not the case. The only raid groups I've seen which require that kind of leadership are either full of kids or trade chat trolls, and they're not going to be killing too many bosses anyway.
Feb 17th 2011 10:24PM @Jeff "What's horrible about the layout?"
I found that in pretty much any situation that requires rapid response time (ie, any game that isn't turn based), you're more likely to get misclicks and lower reaction speeds on this grid design than you do with buttons that are placed in more natural to reach positions. I had a Naga for about a month, which I feel is a fair trial, and I really tried to like it. In the end, I came to the conclusion that it's just designed poorly for its intended purpose.
IME, Razer's build quality has gone way down recently as well. I've owned a couple of their products in the past few months and they've both ended up getting returned due to defects. Where as my Diamondback still chugs along, despite being like 6 years old.
Feb 9th 2011 12:35AM I kind of agree. Having huge UI elements completely obscure your character model on the screen just seems like a bad idea. This strikes me as the UI of someone who stands in stupid things frequently.
That's also kind of an indicator of poor design on Blizzard's part though. When people feel like seeing the UI is more important than seeing what's going on in the game world... not good.
Feb 1st 2011 9:22AM There should be achievements associated with playing your class/role well in groups.
A set of achieves for interrupting 10/100/1000 spells.
One for moving out of "the fire" before taking more than a tick of damage.
One for using aggro wipe abilities effectively.
One for running instances and not pulling aggro (for DPS/heals)
One for running instances and not losing aggro, or for effectively holding aggro. (tank)
