Ensidia and Method to compete in Ulduar timed run {WoW}

Jul 15th 2009 5:48AM From poking around that site a bit, it seemed to me that such competitions are a bit more common in Germany, and that they actually enjoy watching this sort of thing. Their comments are about the anticipation of such a battle and how they should be suspenseful. I personally think it's cool that their community is a bit tighter knit and can have guild vs guild competitions rather than just generally all the guilds competing, then again, we're talking about a country about the size of Montana, so it makes sense.

Breakfast Topic: What Race or Organization should make a return in the Expansion? {WoW}

Jul 14th 2009 8:52AM Ethereals in Azeroth? Seems like it might look funny... a super arcaney clique roaming the country side, doesn't really fit unless they establish their own outpost(s) in one of those eco domes.

"The Maelstrom will make nagas and murlocs a given"
and don't forget about gorlocs! Granted they're more inland, but still would fit well with tis group I think, given that they organize better than murlocs (and are just plain old smarter).

The Queue: WoW 4.0 {WoW}

Jul 13th 2009 9:40AM When Arthas goes down, what will happen to EPL and WPL? If there will be no more scourge, will there still be a plague? Or will these zones start a slow recouperation to their (theoretical) former glory?

Breakfast topic: Do you wish there were worldwide realms? {WoW}

Jul 13th 2009 7:13AM I think overall making language specific servers could work -- but lets also divide them by timezone instead of region. The server list would certainly have to give us more useful information:

Server One is in PST, which is +/- X number of hours from your timezone. (alternatively: this is your timezone.) This is an English/Spanish/Portuese/German/ etc. server.

Then we could choose to play with our friends on a server in a completely different timezone than our own, and in our language of choice.

I personally think that if this were made available people would have a lot more options. Also, it would allow people to transfer from a realm in CET to WST with no problems. And furthermore, it could open up a whole new realm of possibilities for multiple language servers (German and English, Spanish and Portugese, w/e).

I am howerver aware that this is strictly hypothetical, and would never happen (barring a complete server overhaul and allowing everyone to rechoose a realm). Yeah, really everything we could think of to change the system couldn't be implemented.

WoW Moviewatch: Take My Quest {WoW}

Jul 7th 2009 12:07PM this song is a parody of Say My Name by Destiny's Child and quite a good one, says this observer.
