Know Your Lore: Wrathion the Purified {WoW}

Dec 18th 2011 6:27PM So does this mean that we'll never see any more Black Dragons in WoW? :o

Dec 12th 2011 2:31AM I read his full 'title' as "Styrofoam for Audacity" and assumed his character name was Audacity, and, somehow, some Styrofoam was doing the instance for the player Audacity.

I blame it the time. 7:30am Q_Q

Around Azeroth: Your overly dramatic death scene {WoW}

Dec 11th 2011 8:26AM Dragons always make the best post-death screenshots :D

Titles Tell Stories: How "Mists of Pandaria" breaks the mold {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 9:31AM If it is an expansion, I just don't get how they'll fit the Pandaren into the game without relegating them to the role of "quest givers / rep faction".
People are saying you'll be able to choose a faction at a certain level, but I have a memory of, either in a Q&A or a response to someone on the forums, a Blue saying something along the lines of:
"A race that can choose a faction is a no-go. It won't happen. When designing character models, one of our priorities has and will be to make sure a player can easily identify an enemy or friend at a distance from their outline, or silhouette."
Something like that, of course it might have been them just throwing us off the idea, but...

The Daily Quest: Panda-monium {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 5:46AM I'm pretty (read: 90%) sure that Blizzard said in a Q&A some time back, when asked about a race that can choose a faction, something along the lines of:
"It'll definitely never happen, when designing character models one of our priorities was always to make sure a player could identify and enemy or friend on their silhouette."
Just a memory of it that stuck because some people were crying over it at the time :/

WRUP: Pandaren Madness Minute {WoW}

Aug 6th 2011 4:11PM Gnomes and Goblins are comedy races. Pandaren where literally added into WC3 as a joke.

Veteran WoW players given free copies of the game to gift to new players {WoW}

Jun 25th 2011 5:13PM The Blizzard quote says that the emails "ARE being sent out", not -have- been sent out, so maybe they're sending them over the course of a couple weeks?
Or it's just a badly worded phrase on Nethaera's part. :/

Veteran WoW players given free copies of the game to gift to new players {WoW}

Jun 25th 2011 3:12PM Yeah, I wonder too - I'd really like one to get one of my friends started who's been hesitating about joining up, but I've only been playing since...errm....The first major content patch I remember was Sunwell...So I'm not really a "veteran" xP

Blizzard unveils patch 4.2 Dungeon Journal Preview {WoW}

Jun 23rd 2011 2:26PM @vereonis

You do realise Paragon and other like-minded guilds are NOT being forced to use this feature right? They can just not look, y'know?

Oh, and also, in the Dreamhack Paragon Live Raid, the Paragon guy co-commentating was saying that their aim as a guild, and what they all generally found most enjoyable, was getting bosses down as fast as possible to get as much loot as they could in as little game time as they could. So I'd think something like this would be GOOD for such a guild.

The Queue: The land of the ice and snow {WoW}

Jun 5th 2011 2:06PM I'm going to say a deeper level of Grim Batol as the Deathwing raid, as you're running down the stairs to Erudax, there's a portcullis, with a load of Red Dragonkin and fighting on the other side in the midst of lots of fire.
Or maybe the "Scarred Terrace" part of GB, that HUGE room/area with a load of pillars you fly past on the Red Drakes when taking them as a shortcut after the Orc/Valiona boss.
Just my thoughts :)
