And then have a quest where you have to stop Hemet Nesingwary from slaughtering them all.
Jul 22nd 2009 6:04PM Aruhgulah,
The horde WILL certainly be treated fairly and you can rest assured there'll be as much flirting with the horde audience as the alliance audience.
Because every movie maker with half (or less) a brain knows that these kind of movies will bomb at the box office if they do not satisfy the hard-core fans. LOTR was a success because it was so faithful to the original books (and the fans/geeks). Everyone in the film industry knows this.
Alienating half the core fanbase by making the movie alliance-perspective would make no sense at all commercially, so it won't happen.
The movie may still suck, but you can be pretty damn sure that Thrall and other horde heroes is going to feature heavily. Whereever and whenever they set the movie, I'm pretty sure you'll seee a mixed races party (orc, human for someone to identify with, belf (belf chic for the hotness), gnome (comic relief)) going through some epic quest and in the end a bad demon and a corrupted humanoid dies.
Besides, Arthas, Burning Legion and so on will make a waaaaay better "bad guy" than any horde would for an alliance-perspective one, so even main stream Hollywood types with no clue about warcraft universe would agree.

Jul 20th 2009 6:47PM In the Soviet Union, Loot Council was state ideology.
Look where it got them.
Crap gear, angry people and a pretty major guild disband in the end.
Jul 17th 2009 5:29PM Are you guys seriously saying you are PvPing with nameplates toggled off?
If not, surely you identify friend from foe at a distance mainly depending on whether you see a greet nameplate or a red one?
Silhouettes are so much less clear than nameplates, so who cares.
Jul 14th 2009 8:36AM I'd die for playing a Kobold Death Knight! :D
Jul 12th 2009 5:28PM The same paladin who has now been demoted to some kind of dumb TV game show host in the Argent Lolament. Listening to Tirion calling out the contestants (I keep expecting him to say "we'll be right back after a word from our sponsors" in between each of the bosses), really makes me wonder if the Ashbringer isn't already corrupted by dumbness.
