Arcane Brilliance: 6 essential Mage add-ons for PvE {WoW}

Aug 2nd 2009 12:02AM I don't use addons because I like using what Blizzard gave us. I don't know. I have nothing against addons, but I don't like it when people say we NEED them. Omen is pretty much useless. If you actually bother to turn on Blizzards threat meter to its fullest extent, you will see why.

The only addon that could be considered "needed" would be Deadly Boss Mod, or another mod similar. (I think another one is called Big Brother or something.)

The only way I can explain this to someone... well...

When I play with Blizzards UI I feel like I am playing the game, and when I play with other addons, I feel like I am playing the addons.

Of course, this is just me, and if you don't feel that way, fine. I really don't care. ;)

WoW, Casually: Playing with your preschooler {WoW}

Jul 16th 2009 8:46AM I like how you say, "My prejudice is only against the cult of 'America and Americans are always right." Do you not know why I put the book "The Age of American Unreason." up as my source?

One reason is because, studies just don't show up on the internet. Well, not easily accessible anyways. If you want to link a study you have to dig it up forever, hope that it got newsworthy, or quote a book which had the study in it.

The book actually used a study that supported children using computers and t.v., then the book refuted it and showed an opposing study.

I can find neither study online, and I am not going to waste my time. If you really want to know about it, read the book "The Age of American Unreason."

Jul 14th 2009 11:42PM No! Children below the age of three shouldn't even know what a T.V. looks like, let alone a computer. Studies find that toddlers that use programs like Baby Einstein, often do worse than kids who stayed away from computers and television.

You all should ready "The Age of American Unreason." Great book. A little boring, but great book.
