Mar 19th 2012 8:05AM I was really underwhelmed at the whole press tour. I've poured through dual sets of the available info on here and mmo-c, and just came away shaking my head. Nothing I read about here makes me want to resub when my annual pass ends. Given all the info I see no major change in game play coming. The player model thing is a deal breaker too. It has gotten beyond the point of laziness. How many expansions have people been asking for player models? You are telling me its going to take you 6+ years to put them together and test them? Really. I used to love WoW... not any more :(

Jun 11th 2010 6:27PM I guess what scares me about all these comments is the attitude Blizzard seems to take towards Warriors. Our rage mechanic has been horribly broke forever, and our class very honestly has not been given the balancing love that others have seen this expansion. Why I'm scared is Blizzard through all its dealing with the warrior class seems so damn scared of making us to op, so instead we miss necessary fixes, and received nerfs. I'm glad to see the rage mechanic finally change. I've leveled 3 warriors on different realms and its more painful than pulling teeth, the dps is woeful, your not desired in any sort of raiding scenario (until you are geared to the teeth). Its the other changes listed here that make me think blizzard is going to "fix" us to make us "fair" in the way our next swing use / aoe use occurs, bu in the end we will jus tfeel the dps shaft on both the high and the low end. At this point I'm all for them just tearing the class down and starting over because reviewing mos of the prior statements on warriors, and current cata adjustments it just looks like Blizz couldn't figure out what we were meant to be but sure as hell doesn't want us being very utility, or high dps. (Seriously MS nerf, Bladestorm, its not like Arms warriors had much going for them with those abilities).
Basically to wrap up my rant I'd like to see Blizz talk about new abilities that will cover the damage reduction from the WW change. I want to see us be competetive with dps classes through all levels. I want to know in the future if Blizz does figure out a major mechanic for any class is broken, they won't just sit around and wait till the rest of us have adapted to it to change it.
Jan 9th 2010 3:49PM The biggest problem I have with these balances is what they are doing to a large population in favor of a much smaller one. Seriously blizzard spend a year and build an arena system totally separate from the regular game. Why should the millions of people that pve have to suffer through constant pvp changes, and to some extent vice versa. Seperate the two build a series of pvp servers with pvp only characters. Its bad enough that Blizz will admit Arenas were a mistake but to continue the game evolution freely admitting they botched alot of stuff up isnt right. All I want is a seperate system that will allow both pvp and pve/world pvp communities to flourish without interfering with each other.
Jan 9th 2010 2:24PM I just wish Blizz would seperated Arenas from the game entirely. Put Arenas on their own server and stop ruining good World PvP / PvE.
Nice to see there was no problem... till there was one.

Jul 16th 2009 3:42PM I guess maybe I should have added I started playing after wrath came out. I have grinded my way to 80 and gotten some of the best gear, i have about 5k achiev points and generall know what I am doing.
Now that we know i wasnt around for the warriors time in the sun you can go ahead and walk your pointless comment back. Regardless of what a warrior was it isn't that now. Infact my entire time playing a warrior I have to play 10x better to beat out that dk or pally while having better gear.
I am over myself, I'd just like to see Blizz make warriors a class that can do / be a little more than they are now.
Though ty for the rant... without useless comments like yours who knows where the internet would be.
Jul 16th 2009 1:43PM The more I read Q&A's from Blizzard the less I think a majority of the design changes actually come from game play. When I read that Paladin's are under where they should be in x y z and warriors are just fine... well I don;t like to qq but I'm really buying into the whole Blizzard doesn't like warriors scheme. We do horrible dps as prot, we have no viable self heal ability (which I would expect holding to lore), our dps is not great in both arms or fury without the absolute best gear, and our usability vs other classes is quickly becoming nil. Nobody needs, or in most cases wants a warrior for anything. I hope in the future Blizzard takes a hard look at how much they have gimped the class, and maybe show a little bit of love.
