Jul 1st 2010 12:51AM I prayed for Gnome Shaman.
Made more sense to me than gnome priests. Think engineering totems that can extract and harness the earth's elements.
Jun 18th 2010 8:08PM I healed 25 man heroic ICC without special unit frames for the first few months. It wasn't until I was assigned to dispels on Heroic Rotface that I finally took the time to do my UI. Before, I was searching all my frames for the debuff logo. Now their raid frame glows orange when they have the debuff.
Could I heal heroic ICC without the frames? Yes, and I did. And I did a damn good job. But my unit frames now give me so much more information than I had with the default. And the fact that I can condense them to take up a smaller allotted space allows me to see all 25 people without moving my eyes. I think this is the biggest benefit of all. My raid awareness has increased drastically.
Jun 3rd 2010 11:35AM Was - Eyes of Twilight - Each time your direct healing spells heal a target you cause the target of your heal to heal themselves and friends within 10 yards for 402 each sec for 6 sec.
Now - Glowing Twilight Scale - Equip: Increases spell power by 190. Use: For the next 15 sec, each time your direct healing spells heal a target you cause the target of your heal to heal themselves and friends within 10 yards for 356 each sec for 6 sec. (2 Min Cooldown).
I'm not sure which I would have preferred.
Jun 3rd 2010 11:29AM Hmm the healing trinket has changed from its original version. Was just a splash healing trinket before if I remember correctly.
May 20th 2010 5:55PM They once said that DBM was a crutch. And that it took away from the ability required by players. And there are so many of those bossmods now and they were never banned.
AVR is ingenious and took the bossmods to the next level though. It goes from showing a list of people you are too close to, to actually drawing circles around them.
I suppose it was only a matter of time though. I didn't think it was a huge deal, but what the Blues say, goes.
May 17th 2010 12:23PM Almost makes me want to go roll a RP toon. Almost. :) Cool video.
May 15th 2010 10:55PM No the reference that I was trying to make was that it was a trigger fight. You can't toggle it. It required the raid to just do the fight better to enter hard mode.
May 15th 2010 9:46PM I like the idea of having more special hard modes. But I didn't like how in Ulduar, to access hard mode, you had to just kill something faster like on XT or Hodir. I enjoyed hardmodes like 4 tower FL or Firefighter, or Iron Council, which makes me perfer the toggle ability in ICC.
My favorite fights are the ones that change the strategy almost completely and require players to essentially relearn the mechanics, like heroic putricide, Blood Princes, or 3D Sarth for example. Fights where the only change is more damage and a tighter enrage are boring.
