Dec 19th 2009 12:11PM I've run close to 20 completely random pug dungeons so far in an effort to get the Perky Pug. I've been very pleasantly surprised that almost every run I've done has been quick and painless. However, there was one tank who was just a jerk. He and I were certainly the best geared players in the party, as he was wearing Ulduar gear and I am in full T9.5. The DPS was not nearly so geared, but they were doing their best and fully adequate for Zul Drak. The hunter's pet at one point aggro'ed a small pack of trash that we dispatched in about 45 seconds, after which the tank started cursing at the hunter for pulling. The reaction was so over the top and inappropriate that, although none of the DPS said a word, I did speak up and say that I was sure that what happened was not intentional and not worth such a hostile reaction. We pressed forward, and the tank, who was having no trouble keeping aggro, posted damage meters showing that he was out DPS'ing the DPS (who were mostly wearing heroic blues). One of the poor DPS had never even seen a damage meter. The tank went on about how this was just a pathetic situation and blah, blah, blah. We never had a second's trouble in the instance, and as I am completely overgeared we never had a single health bar drop below 80%, so in my opinion it was a very successful run, but the tank just irritated me beyond belief with his arrogance and aggression. At the end of the run I thanked everyone for a job well done, and told the tank that his tanking was excellent, but his personality was chock full of fail.
Jul 18th 2009 8:24AM @Tim, I was just having some fun with the look of the new armor on my blog. I'm sorry you didn't find it amusing. I agree that the way that it was worded on the post may have suggested that I was actually looking at the stats of the set rather than the art. If you are looking for some commentary on the actual stats, I welcome you to take a look at a post I wrote a couple weeks ago analyzing the progression of stats for druids from t7-t9 http://www.rollinghots.com/2009/06/24/which-way-is-progress-wolk-resto-tier-set-progression/
