15 Minutes of Fame: When the guild family is literally all family {WoW}

Jun 16th 2010 10:16PM As my father and I like to say:
The family that slays together stays together.

Patch 3.3 PTR: Why are Northshire wolves getting sick {WoW}

Oct 26th 2009 6:47PM I don't like this.
Blizz, don't put cool, rare, exotic looking skins in lowbie zones. It's a bad idea.
Come Cata, 2/3 of human hunters will be running around with undead wolves. They'll be like those cats from Teldrassil. You know how it's like almost all nelf hunters have those stupid cats? They're common. But undead wolves? Very, very rare pet, very interesting. They're eyecatchers. But if everybody has them they lose their cool factor.

Battle.net 2.0 to allow cross-faction communication {WoW}

Oct 11th 2009 8:57PM I love this. I play both factions, on multiple servers. I only have friends on alli side of one of those servers. Now I'll be able to talk to them while playing horde, and/or on my other servers. No more having to stick to leveling my alli alts on one server so I don't get lonely.
Also, I'll be able to see if my favorite RP partners are on my RP server even while I'm hanging out on my usual PvE realm. Cool. =)

Breakfast Topic: Feats of Fail {WoW}

Sep 17th 2009 7:47PM So I'm not the only one? Yay!
I have an addition to falling off teldrassil:
GM in Shining Armor: Fall off teldrassil, hit something halfway down, corpse run, slip before rezzing, fall the rest of the way while dead, and be rescued by a GM.

Also:
Azerothian Roulette: Die while under at least three circumstances that would have killed you within 15 seconds of your actual death (IE nearly drowned, taking fire damage, being attacked by a mob, all at once (possible in acid pools, and I've done it. XD))

BlizzCon 2009: Cataclysm dungeons {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2009 4:07PM Well, HOPEFULLY, instead of giving us a new CoT dungeon, they'll just copypaste all of old azeroth into a new CoT thingie... so people can go back for nostalgia reasons...
It would make sense.

Alas they probably won't do this, but I can hope, can't I? :(

Arcane Brilliance: Five things every Mage should do before they ding 80 {WoW}

Jul 20th 2009 8:01PM Heh, mage was my first character, and she's currently a 76, rapidly approaching 80. My little leveling a mage quirk is that I keep every single robe I have ever worn. In my bank, there are just rows of robes that tell my story of leveling, from my level 1 robe through that SFK robe (great robe! DO NOT MISS IT!) all the way up to the pretty green northrend robe I just outleveled.
I disagree with the comment about getting omen... As my game breaks for whatever reason whenever I install ANY addons, I've had to level from 1-76 with only what WoW gives me. As a result, I'm more "in tune" with being a mage than some people who use addons... because for lack of an aggro monitor, I've had to develop a very precise feel for how much threat I'm generating... I learned my class better because I had to. Of course, this means I can get away with higher level raiding with no addons, and gets me a lot of respect. "You leveled a mage from 1 to 76 without any addons at all? And no high level alts? You are da woman, Gwen!"
Anyway, I reccomend trying to level without addons, just using what the game gives you. It'll help you learn to mage (or any class) better. =D Pretty soon all you'll ever need is vent.
Also, pick up arugal's robe. Don't miss that thing, ever. It stayed with me for a whopping 14 levels. Remember your sheep and slowfall too.
