Nov 3rd 2009 5:27PM 1.5? I've had it running at 20 or 30 before. I stopped using it when I found that something like it is built into Carbonite.
Sep 26th 2009 2:07PM I got my epic mount right when I hit level 60 for 600g, and I just had the old level 40 60% mount to farm with. I just started saving when I hit 52ish. The hours I spent in the Yeti Cave in Winterspring... Rich Thorium and Rugged leather everywhere.
I don't know about lowering it as much as they did, as it's even easier to make money now than it was halfway through BC when I did that. Although, I guess your average player won't save that much... but that's why being average isn't always the best :D
Sep 14th 2009 6:58PM I have an 80 on a PvP server and an 80 on a PvE server.
Funny thing is, I've noticed that when I'm out on the PvP server, very few Alliance will actually attack me, and I NEVER fight unless they attack first or are clearly going to attack me. When I AM flagged on my PvE server, if I run across an Alliance player, I can be almost sure they will attack me, because it's not a very common opportunity. I have been corpse camped more on the PvE server than the PvP. When people do attack on the PvP realm, I would guess that they were doing it because that's what they're supposed to do, but they usually kill me once and just move on back to questing. They don't want to waste their time, and I don't want to waste my time. I would think all this is because you can always PvP on a PvP server, but the opportunity is rarer on a PvE realm, and therefore people are more likely to take it.
Sep 14th 2009 6:42PM BELT.
This could be a great rivalry, and I look forward to reading more of yours.
Sep 14th 2009 6:28PM That tooltip has been like that as long as I can remember.
Sep 14th 2009 6:27PM Oh my, I think you may be right... when he said "buff/nerf" and then I saw the duration nearly halved I was all "OH NOES" but 10% more damage to the hunter at all times in addition to the 10 seconds of face ripping actually sounds pretty damn good, and makes us less cooldown dependent at the same time. It'll be nice not having to worry so much about popping BW at exactly the right time.
Sep 11th 2009 11:43PM I never gank either, even though my druid is on a PvP realm. I don't even attack players of equal level, actually... but anyway... Gnome Rogues are even worse because they are near impossible to click and tab always decides that I should target the mage 40 yards away instead.
Sep 11th 2009 11:41PM Horde rogues. I play a Horde hunter, a Horde druid, and am currently leveling a Horde shaman, but when I'm in a battleground, there's always the "HURRR DURRR EVRABUDY TO THEIR GY LOLOL I HATE ALLIES" rogue it seems. Death knights and Paladins are other common offenders...
So I guess mine is basically GY campers in BGs. I hate it more when my faction does it than when the opposite faction does it, because:
1. By camping the enemy Graveyard, you are a jerk. Congratulations.
2. By camping the enemy Graveyard, you make it clear that you shun strategy and winning in exchange for the personal glory that is the equivalent of repeatedly killing the harpies in Durotar with a dozen other people.
3. Did I mention you were a jerk?
Aug 30th 2009 10:31PM They will find the cookie cutter spec, sure. But you will be able to vary from it to suit your personal style without gimping yourself, which I am all for.
I'd rather spend my talent points on a fun proc than I would a flat "MOAR AP" talent. For example, Wild Quiver in the Marksman tree for hunters comes to mind. Maybe some points to add extra effects to some totems for my shaman.
Aug 20th 2009 10:22PM When you say "woot purchased camera," are you talking about http://woot.com ?
That's the best site ever!
