Dec 2nd 2009 5:51AM Healing in battlegrounds: yes, you'll die a lot. It's the nature of the beast.
On the other hand, the most satisfying moments I had in this game (besides saving the entire raid from a wipe through judicious use of cooldowns) all happened in BGs after I jumped in at a contested point, healed the hell out of four or five people until I either ran OOM and died to the rogue or they killed whatever was attacking the flag. Why was it satisfying? Because very often I got two or three people at once going "wow, good heals!".
DPS is such a thankless job in comparison...
Nov 24th 2009 9:26PM 11pm EST. Cool, I know what time that would be, but it might be a good idea to also put times in GMT. You know, for those of us who are not in the US but not in the EU either. =)

Sep 30th 2009 8:25PM As a Priest (thankfully, not anymore!), I've ran Scarlet Monastery, Cathedral, eight times in a row just so the Paladin tank I've never met before could get her own Aegis of the Scarlet Commander. Every two runs, we had a DPS drop out and be replaced by someone else, but the Paladin and me carried on. I personally love healers but hate being one (just can't get it right), but I knew how bad it was to go through so many runs without an item that's clearly an upgrade for a long time (my warrior used that thing well into his 50s).
Then the underperforming balance druid ninjaed the Aegis when it finally dropped, claiming it was for his alt. No, I don't get it either. The Paladin was devastated, so I brought my high-level Warrior over and chainpulled our way to victory. Five minutes later, the Pally finally had her shield. =)
Jul 21st 2009 11:16AM I'm not gay but I never go around throwing insults at anybody (except the occasional jab at someone's intelligence that usually flies right over their head), so I'm cool. Good luck out there, GLAAD guys/girls. You're probably gonna need it.
On a similar note, I still don't get it why people have such a strong urge to insult others every five minutes. Go to any [Trade] or [General] channel, ask a perfectly innocent and interesting question, and you're soon to be greeted with people /yelling "n00b", "fu", "stfu" and similar epithets and profanities. It's not just about homosexuals, it's about -anything- on the internet!
So, screw focused initiatives, let's do an internet-wide anti-f**ckwad campaign! Call it "Trollhunt '09"! I'll sign up in a heartbeat!
