Aug 2nd 2011 1:00PM My husband is our guild's main tank, and I'm one of the healers. We raid together and complement each other pretty darn well. Oh yeah, and I met him on WoW.
Jun 6th 2011 1:52PM Yeah I was half way through reading this when I realized it was meant for Paladins! Lots of great stuff that was totally relevant to my priest.
Jun 6th 2011 12:45PM Sylvanas has shards of Frostmourne? Wait, there are shards of Frostmourne around? I only *just* killed the LK last night. I avoided all spoilers for a year! I never saw the cinematic or anything. So I'm finally catching up on all the lore.
May 13th 2011 6:47PM My advice for enjoying the game? Turn off all chats except Guild, Party, and Raid. This includes the PVP battleground chat.
May 5th 2011 2:38PM Doctor Who reference is win!
May 5th 2011 1:44PM I normally agree about special characters but when I transferred servers after playing on the same name for five years I just couldn't imagine going by any other name. I did make sure the first 3 letters were normal and the special e has a fairly obvious apostrophe over it. I tried petitioning a GM so I could get the name and tried mailing whoever has it but no dice.
Apr 26th 2011 4:33PM Last year I transferred to a completely new server and joined a guild in which I knew no one. The main tank had been leading raids for a year or so but recently passed on that mantle to another. Guildies still talked and made jokes about him and obviously everyone liked him. He was not on much and he doesn't speak much but whenever he did it was always this perfect blend of sarcasm/dry humor that made me laugh! He seemed so...cool and funny and I know it sounds silly but I respected him.
One night running old content with the guild we were all joking around and he said something to me specifically. I can't remember what it was but it made me laugh and it surprised me that he even knew I existed. I had only been in the guild a month or so and we were taking a break waiting for the new expansion so we did not do many guild events. Anyway, I whispered back to him and for the rest of the night we talked. We friended each other on facebook a few days later and now...well now I am his wife. ^.^
He is definitely real to me now, but he still has that wonderful sense of humor and is very cool.
