Mar 3rd 2011 10:40PM Erm, you may want to edit this article - there is a huge difference between "anos", the unsavory body part, and años, or years.
Feb 6th 2011 8:19PM The phrase "I have seen worlds bathed in the Makers' flames. Their denizens fading without so much as a whimper" indicates that the Titans have re-originated other planets before. Therefore, I believe that Azeroth was NOT the only planet made to combat Sargeras - we are simply the last in a long line of failures. By "defeating" Algalon, we passed a test that apparently no other planet has passed before - a good sign for the survival of Azeroth.
Jan 21st 2011 2:50PM "At least until 4.06 it makes me cry everytime I see a hunter that is any other spec than survival in a heroic."
"what bothers me is when a hunter brings a pet that's buff is already negated by a player, and doesn't or refuses to pull out a pet opposite that buff."
I play a beast mastery hunter. I don't roleplay or anything, but that's the spec and class I play. I've never been another spec differing from beast mastery during my time playing for more than half an hour. I do this because I feel that the defining aspect of a hunter is his pet, and it means a lot to me to be able to play BM and use my spirit beast, Loque'nahak, who I camped day after day. I always sift through Elitist Jerks and I use femaledwarf.com to make sure that I use the correct pieces of gear, and gem the right stats. At the moment, I'm pretty sure that any heroic can be completed with three subtlety rogues, or whichever the worst DPS class is at the moment. So please, don't cry because the dungeon will take a few more minutes to complete. It's not worth it.
Jan 6th 2011 5:03PM Very nice - I never did get into one of those, unfortunately
My proudest moment would have to be from Naxxramas(80) with my hunter. Back before Ulduar, we did a 10-man Naxx run with some friends. We got to Gluth, and were having some trouble. I was nervous, and messed up kiting the adds a few times. On one attempt, our off-tank died - the mortal wound debuff started stacking up on our main tank, with no way to get it off. I'm not quite sure how I can describe it, but I went into "the zone". Back then, Distracting Shot was a taunt that worked on bosses, and taunts had no diminishing returns. I used Distracting Shot to pull the boss towards me at a distance where it would take long enough for him to get back to the main tank for the debuff to drop, but he wouldn't quite reach me. The tank didn't understand what I was trying to do at first, but eventually we got into a rotation of taunts. I managed to keep up this juggling act while kiting the adds, and when the boss dropped, I felt *pro*.
Jan 6th 2011 4:41PM The offensive wins are pretty much fated to be the same, as when you get an offensive win, you gain Tol Barad. You then play on defense until the other side wins offensively. Then you're on offense again. This was exactly the same as Wintergrasp. Also, holding defense is much easier - there was a WoW Insider post on it earlier, and thus the 1800 honor debacle occured.
Apr 6th 2010 5:20PM You do realize we have Spellsteal...right?
If you're talking about defensive dispels, that would be a little much.
Apr 6th 2010 5:19PM BWAHAHA! Munch on your grass in fear, druids, as you are turned into SHEEP! No longer shall we cower in fear of your ability to roll immense amounts of hots and shapeshift out of our roots. Now you tall ones shall feel the pain in 4.0. Previously named Cataclysm, this expansion is now known as...
Carbon Emissions: A CO2 Problem.
From a fair bit of the population of the world now becoming sheepable, carbon emissions have been raised substantially. You heroes of the Alliance and Horde must find an eco-friendly way to handle the CO2 gas that will DESTROY THE WORLD.
*note: instaFFB is OP in PvP. This coming from a pvp frost mage.
That is all.
Apr 5th 2010 10:38PM This may be quite the bit self-effacing, but I did post a 5-part BM hunters guide - it starts here at http://kiddiejournal.blogspot.com/2010/03/bm-raiding-part-first.html but the stats section is at http://kiddiejournal.blogspot.com/2010/03/whats-going-on.html. For a short answer to your questions,
1. No, the hit cap isn't really as important - partly because the hit cap is lower for heroic bosses, and partly because it's not as important if you miss a shot (as opposed to missing a tranq shot in ToC or ToGC on Northrend Beasts).
2. You shouldn't start stacking ArPen yet - you need much more gear before gemming ArP becomes worthwhile over gemming AP.
3. Follow the above tips, and hopefully your DPS will go up.
