Dec 6th 2009 12:04PM I agree, if you have more than one character (I have about 20+) and I wanted to switch realms, let's say you found a realm that you're really grooving with but all your lvl 80's are on your main server- kaching. You know you'd be transfering more than one character. And the same thing with race changes. I've got a few characters I'd like to see switch races, but I'm not about to shell out $25+ for it.
Now, of course Blizz isn't some greedy, well lubed money making machine right? If they were they'd see the benefit of lowering paid service costs by half to increase revenue tenfold, and oh boy, would I be jumping on that band wagon. If paid transfers and race changes were $10-$15 per, they'd have a VERY viable option for their customers, and they'd be raking it in.
But, until costs get lowered, I'm sticking with what I have.
Sep 5th 2009 12:23PM I'm just like the author of this post in almost every regard. I tend to stay on the path of good or chaotic good for all my characters when it comes to WoW. It makes my stomach loop when I have to do some dasterdly deed that goes against the fiber of who I am personally (life imitating art I guess).
And I don't think I could switch factions or races. It takes me an hour to change a hairstyle because I'm bored with the look of my 4 year old WoW character, and ironically after a week of the 'new do' I run back to the barber to change the style back to the original. Even my bank alt is a fixture. She's my 'Sims' alt as well. I dress her up in all the best and trendy clothes, and she rarely leaves Ironforge lol.
When I have an itch to have a different class/race I go to a server I normally don't play on (my main is full) and give the new stuff a whirl. That way, I don't feel I'm missing out on much and sedate my craving for something different.
Aug 29th 2009 2:49PM Wow, I haven't seen a stupid WoW video in a long time. Thank you, no, really. About a 1/4 of the way through I started to websurf and just listened to the music in the background- even that was enough to shut it off. The last line of, "Don't make me do another song motha f---" ... please, heed your own advice and DON'T.
Please remove this garbage asap. Thank you.
Aug 18th 2009 11:25AM I'm an addon'aholic, and Power Auras is the best for reminding me when I forgot to do something. I've set it for buffs, cooldowns, you name it. That addon is very customizable to what you'd like, and that's one of the best addons that sharpened my game.
Aug 17th 2009 2:39PM Love love love The Guild. My husband and I are huge fans of their work, I can't wait until season 3 is released - don't have an Xbox so we'll have to wait longer. Great video, tune is so catchy and the cast looks ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
Aug 15th 2009 10:39PM Classic, it never goes out of fashion : )

Aug 14th 2009 9:44AM I can see why they didn't make a Blizzard Twitter account. Could you imagine all the complaints they'd have for the influx? They'd be the one source stop for complaint department, suggestions, flixing glitches, realms down, GM surveys and the like. I think we're possibly looking at server crashes for Twitter from now on, now that they're on there (ironic, wouldn't it be, that the owners of Blizz personal twitter accts not being able to log in? ROFLMAO)
Get ready to see, "Too many tweets, try again later," more often now! lol (well, after all, 6+million people playing Warcraft, I'm sure some of them would find themselves creating Twitter accounts from this point on)
Helpful hint to Twitter: Upgrade you hardward. You may need it!
Aug 10th 2009 2:49PM They better start figuring out how to give players more character slots to create. Seriously! 10 slots is NOT enough.
Aug 9th 2009 10:08AM Oh, I'm really digging the new druid form look. Still hitting Isle of Conquest and that bg is unique to say the least. I've yet to set some time aside for raiding. Honestly I think raids are over rated especially if you have to pug them all the time. Small server, smaller guilds. But, I do like the fact that you can trade items that drop while in a raid. You can't use the excuse, "Oh, sorry I rolled need. I really meant to greed it." Hello reroll. If the player takes off with the loot, then you know they're 100% ninja.
