Apr 3rd 2012 11:24AM You should be able to find the videos on Tank Spot still. Mechanics haven't changed but timing of things may change when they are based on health of the boss. We may over gear them now but not enough to where you can just faceroll your way thru them and ignore the mechanics of a fight.
Mar 28th 2012 1:15PM I recommend the Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne. Nothing like seeing mythical and fantasy characters mixing it up with various gods and having a good time. Who knew Jesus loves a good beer as well as fish and chips.
Feb 8th 2012 1:24PM Forgot to mention the orbs between Undercity and Silvermoon City.
Dec 29th 2011 4:59PM I play a fire mage for an alt and the randomness can be quite annoying. One fight you are destroying the meters and the next 3 you look like a fresh 85. I have done entire boss fights in heroic 5-mans without a single hot streak proc as well as a few raid bosses.
Nov 17th 2011 12:21PM Not sure about WWII but it does remind me of the commercial used in Starship Troopers.
Nov 14th 2011 12:19PM Funny thing is as I popped onto wow insider to get caught on the articles, I had Ozzy singing "Iron Man" on my computer at the same time. Eerie.
Oct 7th 2011 9:15AM Friend got me playing and I rolled a prot pally to help his guild out. Never looked back. He is still my main to this day and will always be. But along the way I have come to enjoy mages and shamans as well.
Whenever I start a new character, I tend to go for one of those three classes.
Now DKs on the other hand, I can barely get one out of the start area before deleting. Just can't understand them or find the will to play one.
Aug 22nd 2011 11:36AM You could suggest setting a date and time to do it in (or two days since your faction may not have it at that specific time) and if it isn't done at that time, everyone is on their own to run it. It works well for the guild I am in. We schedule for Tuesday evening and if we can't we will try again on Thursday. After that, everyone is on their own to run BH.
Aug 4th 2011 8:25AM The guild I am in is a group of friends that are casual about raiding. We don't spend hours pouring over combat logs. We don't go for optimal group. We play the class we want to play unless we really need something specific.
We had a 0.6% wipe on Al' Akir before we downed him the first time. Just about every person in the raid group has had their chance to shine as last man standing on a first time kill of a boss, tanks, healers and dps included.
The running joke in our guild for when we run progressive runs is two words, "last attempt." It seems when the raid leader calls last attempt, something kicks in and we manage to down the boss. And it has to be the true last attempt of the night for it to work, can't say last attempt before break or something like that, it has to be the last attempt before calling it a night.
Jul 20th 2011 11:34AM Is the dungeon finder only mixing armor classes up in the higher end dungeons and not the lower level dungeons?
I only wonder cause I ended up in a group last night with 3 priests (2 dps, 1 healing) last night while leveling a toon. Don't get me wrong, 7 minute timers on the finder as a leveling dps is great but it seems unfair to the classes when loot drops.
