Sounds like this guy is a grade-A asshole though, taking on a pet he has no time/ambition to train and work with.
Jun 25th 2010 6:16PM I probably would have done the same thing, but deleted a couple characters too. Sure it wouldn't have fixed anything, but people need to understand consequences for their actions.
And if I got charged for "hacking", I'd pay whatever the fine was and still feel great about the situation.
But then again that's just me and my unparalleled spite.
Apr 11th 2010 6:02PM I'm no Warrior, but I don't believe Intervene affects spells. Blizzard usually calls spells spells, whereas ranged=hunters.
Oct 29th 2009 10:57AM I think this is a great idea, long time coming. Mostly for lower-level dungeons, I don't think I've been able to get a real vanilla pug going in a year or so, i miss the random chaos that usually ensues.
For heroics, also a great idea. It's a shame that people are so elitist nowadays though. Heroics are fun when you've got 3 people doing 1500 dps and the bosses go through their rotation, instead of downing them in 25-30 seconds, disregarding any pesky mechanics.

Sep 23rd 2009 10:49AM I was wailing on the dummies in Orgrimmar and could have sworn i saw this too. I evocated, then went through all my mana just casting missiles, seeing if it would proc. It never did, the math gods were just taunting me at the time I guess.
Sep 23rd 2009 12:19AM I'm all for new changes and content, I just wish they would do a better job of testing and evaluating these changes before they go live.
My Arc Mage's dps went up by about 10% with these latest changes, also getting a slight buff to mana management with free Arcane Missiles from the Missile Barrage proc. I don't want to sound ungrateful, but it seems like an unnecessary buff when Arcane is already competing with Fire for top dps. I just hate to think what aspect they're going nerf to re-balance this, as I doubt they'll simply reverse their action.
Maybe I'm being unrealistic in expecting a finished, balanced game that's enjoyable to play. (If servers are working at all)
Sep 22nd 2009 6:24PM This constant buff/nerf dance is getting ridiculous, how about getting it right the first time. I've never been so close to giving up on wow, like others have said.
When blizzard nerfs a class, its because of balance issues. Paladins in all 3 specs were overpowered in wrath, and blizzard is still putting the final touches on reigning them back in, almost a year after fact.
Dk's were the same way, although that was more of a problem with the whole class than a specific spec.
AV leveling was hardly free. I argue that there's more to be learned character-wise from pvping and AV than there is in pretty much any other facet of the game, really.
Also, those who leveled in AV were often on alts, and already leveled "the hard way" by killing thousands of mobs that pose little to no threat, and doing boring, uninspired quests.
Aug 6th 2009 9:07PM while the heroic isn't hard from a strategy standpoint, it does require quick healing. i've ended up at about 3k heals per second over-all, double what the average heroic takes with equally geared people.

In the tooltip for the damage reduction, it says it only reduces damage from other characters, not mobs.
