Blood Pact: The warlock multi-DOT rotation {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2011 12:58AM As Demo I would never use Agony on anything, I want those extra imps running around, and since Agony has a lower DPCT for Demo (with a horrible ramp time) unless the target is going to last more than 15 sec the point is moot, Corruption would be a better option.

Aug 18th 2011 7:13PM yeah, the clown hat look was lame in my book, but the t9 helm with the pauldrons of catastrophic emanations was a sweet look on a forsaken, the t8 was cool too, but not like the t9

Aug 17th 2011 6:13PM t9 was the best looking fit on an undead lock, and I will carry the look into the next expansion!

For the Banshee Queen!!!

WoW Rookie: How to deal with disruptive players and hate speech {WoW}

Aug 11th 2011 9:20PM Ahhh but they can, see intellectual property is exactly that, property, and they have a right to refuse access to anyone for any reason they deem legit.

Aug 11th 2011 9:12PM I completely agree with this idea, if they had "G" rated servers that were for kids and people's accounts could be banned from those servers by GMs so that they couldn't create an alt, that would be great. Then when an individual was reported for being inappropriate the GM could look into the issue and kids would be "safe".

However I must say that I do believe in desensitization and that is part of why I allow my kids to play violent games like wow, and also why I am ok with them PvPing. But a little bit at a time is what it takes, not bury them in it.

Breakfast Topic: Design your own level 90 spell or ability {WoW}

Aug 10th 2011 5:55PM Fel Knowledge: Any demon (minion or guardian) under your control gains X% damage increase.

Oh wait, that is the fixed version of the current Mastery

Blood Pact: What to do once you hit level 85 {WoW}

Aug 8th 2011 7:02PM While that may be possible, I honestly am not sure, that would put you at a max of 6500 when you hit 85, and it really wasn't explained that way. If you can then this idea has way more merit than I gave it credit initially.

Blood Pact: What to do once you hit level 85 {WoW}

Aug 8th 2011 6:49PM Ok, aside from the obvious not reforging resilience, there is also the obvious lie in the section about doing PvP to get all 3 t11 pieces when you hit 85, it just doesn't pencil. . .you can have a max of 4000 honor, the exchange is 375h=250jp, so at the best you are only able to get 2500JP when you hit 85, which only gets you the chest or legs, though you could get the gloves and another piece of something else that is 359. . .you simply can't get all 3 pieces when you hit 85.

Blood Pact: Quashing misleading rumors about warlocks {WoW}

Aug 2nd 2011 12:50AM How is a suicide lock supposed to "not die"? I (with and with out healers) tend to save a lot of fights by going suicidal (not dieing but being completely insane), especially when the tank has gone down.

INSANITY =/= DEATH
INSANITY = SUICIDAL
SUICIDAL =/= DEATH

intentionally pulling agro from the tank for a few seconds so he can get some heals in a 5 man may mean my death or it may not

Officers' Quarters: Raiding without characters {WoW}

Aug 1st 2011 6:46PM Being the GL of a guild that started as a lvling/social guild, that has maintained our player base for the last 3 years, I can honestly say that I blame Bliz! The concentration and focus that is required for even the daily quests is the elimination od guild chat or atleast has been for my guild.
At the end of BC (I started the guild 2 days after 2.4 dropped) we were all leveling and the guys were all very social, enter wrath, again for the entire duration of Wrath we were a very social bunch, we picked up a few new players along the way, and started to raid. Our raids were a hoot, everyone was having fun and being so social we actually went over on our scheduled raid times almost every raid (just so we could keep having fun together as friends).
Enter Cat. . . at 1st nothing changed, then more and more of us were getting to 85 and started in on the grind for heroics and dailies, people began to talk less and less. . . not that we aren't still having fun, but the amount of guild/raid chat has decreased so dramatically with 9 people on line it can be like a ghost town. When some one says something others respond, but the silence quickly descends again.
We are all still friends, and there is no chance that my locks are gonna bail on me, the problem is the focus necessary to get anywhere has gone up, we talked about it in a guild meeting, and we all agreed, it has become a job to get what we need done to be able to raid.
As to an answer to the problem, the only one we can see, is to know that we are all there for each other, but it is ok for us to focus when trying to kill this boss or do that daily, and if someone needs help we speak up and someone will come running as soon as we can (their may be a small wait).
