Breakfast Topic: What feature does WoW need most? {WoW}

Dec 23rd 2010 1:07PM Dye would be nice, but what'd I'd love would be to wear what items are already in there with the stats of a your good gear. Perhaps have the normal character sheet, but then a second which would override the graphics of your fighting set. I mean, Blizzard has some pretty neat armor/weapon graphics already, even for lowbies.

A job well done, though.

Cataclysm hotfixes for Dec. 13 {WoW}

Dec 14th 2010 10:14AM Clearly neither of you have actually ~worked~ in the software industry.

Some fresh bugs or gameplay changes are to be expected, but you're now paying for the privilege of testing their product, and have been since at least 4.0.1 was released.

By the way, want a great deal on some waterfront property?

Cataclysm hotfixes for Dec. 13 {WoW}

Dec 14th 2010 9:58AM In fact, I've participated in quite a few betas (not Cata) and do Quality Assurance for my company's software.

I can appreciate that there will be bugs that simply won't be discovered until it comes into the 'gold' phase (released), but the sheer number of bugs that I've seen with this product since 4.0.1 was released tells me they aren't working as hard as they could. Simply put: If it wasn't ready to go to market, it shouldn't have gone to market. At best, you're in the "release candidate" phase of pre-release testing, and you're paying for the privilege.
