Long, Strange Trip achievement will award Master Flying {WoW}

Oct 16th 2010 3:08AM In regards to this achievement, I only have hallow's eve left to get this, but I am a little concerned about the Sinister Calling achievement.

Anyone know if the pet and hat will drop directly from the Headless Horseman or if it will drop in your daily bag?

I'm a little terrified it's the latter.... I have absolutely horrific luck...

In the Beta, I keep getting the option to change my race/faction or edit my characters. Are these random or does something trigger them? I just copied my priest over and want to change her to a goblin, but every time I log in to the character, only my previous 4 toons get the option to change.

Dec 8th 2009 3:43PM I'm sorry, you're telling me that you charge people to DE the items that drop from instances? Are you serious? Or do you just greed everything and keep the mats for yourself? That's a bit assholish. I don't know what server you're on, or why they would put up with you, but on MY server, at the end of the run the Encanter DEs all the blue/epic items and we roll for the shards. The enchanter doesn't keep them for their own purposes. And if you mean random greens that drop, people are rolling against you for greed either way, and if they choose the DE choice, you're all still rolling Greed. You're not losing out on anything. If you want to DE it, and you win the 'greed' roll, there you go, just like before. There is absolutely no difference. Your toon isn't being forced to do anything against it's will. The game DEs the items itself.

I don't know what enchanters are bitching about. This saves you from having to hang out at the end of a run to DE all the loot and then ask for rolls and trade to everyone. You don't even have to do anything!

And you know, there's really only one thing to be even remotely upset about, and that's the fact that before, a group would roll, and the shards would go to all the top rollers, so almost everyone would at least get one shard. Now tho, if one person is lucky, they can win all the shards. But really, that's not a huge deal.

Aug 4th 2009 5:01PM I agree so completely. I think it would be amazing to be able to go in and watch a fight, like a real coloseum, like in the roman empire with the gladiator in a skirt and the lion... It would be true entertainment.

Aug 4th 2009 3:26PM I haven't seen anything about the change to Guarded by the Light til this article, but it actually kinda pisses me off when i think about my Prot pally. Divine Plea was the only way i ever stayed up on mana, be it questing or in groups. My pally isn't 80 yet, but all good pally tanks i know have drilled the fact that Divine Plea is our mana savior and i should cherish it into my head. Prot pallies dont use Seal of Wisdom, and judging wisdom doesn't really get your mana back up after a pull and your first threat gaining attacks... What are we supposed to do now? It kind of screws us on Boss Fights, because even with Sanctuary, with only one thing hitting you, you dont regenrate mana that fast. Plus, blizz kinda nerfed Disc priests, and somewhat holy priests, as now that we dont have our main mana generator to make up for their bubbles, theyre kind of useless for any tank except DK tanks.

Im just wondering what Blizz was thinking is all. No QQing here, just curiosity. And if anyone has suggestions about mana management without divine plea, please let me know.

Jul 31st 2009 11:50PM You know, she says above that you never see Female Troll Prot Warriors, and it's funny, cause a few days ago, a friend of mine said the exact same thing to me. So what did I do? My female troll lovin' ass went and deleted my lvl 3 male tauren warrior, and made a brand spankin' new female troll warrior, who will be prot.

It feels good to be one of few class/race/sex combinations. I've always liked standing out!

Jul 31st 2009 11:42PM I agree, wholeheartedly. My first 3 toons were female trolls. I chose my troll hunter for her curves and her bright, spunky hair do's. And I don't regret it. They're fierce, they're sexy, they have the funniest flirt in the game (When enraged, and in heat, a female troll can mate over 80 times in one night. Are you prepared?). They're the best.

I also agree about humans... the Alliance races are soooo boring. The only race that is anything remotely unhuman like is the draenei. Horde have different flavors! We're rough and exciting.

Only thing i envy about the Alliance is their buildings are sometimes amazingly beautiful. I don't know how many times i've dreamt about cities in trees. Teldrassil and even the outpost in Zangarmarsh. Ashenvale is by far one of my most favorite zones, because of the hazy, dark, serene feel of it. But of course it's Alliance favored lol.
