Dev Watercooler: Ghostcrawler on balance in patch 4.3 {WoW}

Sep 27th 2011 11:53PM Awesome, thanks for the upcoming changes to Druid and Shammy healing GC.
So shammys will be getting more throughput? (They already have ridiculous throughput in pvp as the top healer for just about any arena bracket) And you're nerfing druid throughput? (I understand druids are topping charts in pve, but we're really struggling in pvp) Thanks at least for the wind shear nerf, but I was waiting on 4.3 hoping that my resto druid would no longer be the worst healing class available. Time to roll a shammy.

Sep 20th 2011 10:09PM Bad advice about healers making a good Flag carrier, imo. As per your other advice, healers should be your first target. Let's say we have 2 dps and a healer playing d with the flag. If the healer has the flag, the first target is the flag carrier. If one of the dps has the flag, the flag carrier is the second target giving your dps more burn time trying to get down the opposing team's dps.
The only time I EVER FC in these matches is in a pug when I have another healer with me and I have by far and away the most resiliance on our team.

The Queue: No really, it's a fake {WoW}

Jul 5th 2011 11:16AM It's those towering stacks of things. You aggro the spiders sitting on them. They death (web?) grip you up. Rinse and repeat until you get to the highest platform. For the achievement, pick the biggest towering stack of things. I believe its in the middle. It's also the biggest one on the map.

Jun 3rd 2011 1:41AM Tempus Magus:

Honestly, you're missing the point. This is not some horrible thing. All of your examples/ analogies are contingent on us being FORCED to buy that extra product. However, here, we are clearly not forced to buy it. I pay my $15 monthly and I am perfectly happy not having either one of these mounts.

Cheers

Feb 9th 2010 4:13PM I forgot to ad D Ends. The speed rushers would definately be the jacked up trolls that are not playable. Look at Jevon Kearse in his heyday and tell me he doesn't look like one of those guys. Giant mofo with arms that almost reach the ground.

Feb 9th 2010 4:08PM Retpally's comment was acutally really good for anyone who actually follows hockey.

Breakfast Topic: Are You Ready for Some Football? {WoW}

Feb 9th 2010 4:01PM Let me just put it to rest as someone who doesn't get up from his couch all saturday and sunday during football season. Gnomes would have absolutely not place on the football field, other than as footballs. Taurens would be interior D linemen and O tackles and Guards. You would have Orcs for linebackers. Trolls would be your Safeties. B Elfs would be cornerbacks while the N Elves would be wide recievers. The space goats would be tight ends. Dwarves would be Maurice Jones-Drew/Darren Sproles type running backs (If you've watched LOTR they're "natural sprinters") on top of them being built like tanks. Humans would be long snappers, holders and kickers. Quarterback is acutally open for debate. You have to have good leadership, so I could give it to humans with their bonus to rep. Gnomes actually could be smart QBs with their bonus to INT, but they are too short to throw it over their linemen. I have to give it to the UD, however, because of their ability to escape fear.

Jul 31st 2009 4:54PM Great article, but honestly, learn the difference between their/they're and your/you're
