Sep 18th 2010 2:26PM Also, if I may add, "carved with an elaborate beard motif" was perfect.
Sep 18th 2010 2:12PM Possibly the most epic WRUP yet.
Sep 12th 2010 4:30PM As someone who spent quite a few months raiding on Area 52, I can honestly say it's the worst realm I've been on when it comes to player attitude. I met a few nice, fun people on the server, but we all ended up transferring off because we were overwhelmed by jerks.
Sep 10th 2010 1:43PM If you're dealing with ongoing harassment (especially if it's through whispers) the most important things that were touched on here is that you should *not* take the bait and lash out at them (GMs can read the whole chat log!), put them on your ignore list and if they go around it, immediately add that character to your ignore list without responding to them and contact a GM again with the information. I've had to deal with this a couple of times, and this can make the process much smoother. :)
Also, remember not to be discouraged! There are some crappy people out there, but the vast majority of WoW players are friendly and helpful (especially if you get to know them).
Sep 8th 2010 11:26PM I'll admit it: I cheated a little bit. I got a Battered Hilt on my mage (who didn't need it), so as soon as I hit 80 I started working on that questline. And FoS was my second-ever heroic as discipline--I did a few as shadow and had the T9 gloves.
So it wasn't that I was ridiculously undergeared and shouldn't have been in there (although I still had and have some blues), I was just very unprepared.
Sep 2nd 2010 9:30PM I use GupPet for my mount and pet management.
And for mailbox stuff, Postal.
I haven't really been following the column (I was attracted here by the bear) so I'm not sure if he's mentioned them...
Sep 1st 2010 9:47PM I've met a few of my guildmates on an individual or small group level. It's been loads of fun each time.
Aug 30th 2010 3:02PM They were in my hometown (which I was actually there visiting family while the tournament was going on), and I'm still confused as to why it was held there.
Aug 8th 2010 7:12PM I agree; low-level BGs are already my favorite. A friend and I once made characters and leveled them solely through PvPing. I fondly recall getting Ironman at level 22 on a discipline priest, after fearing them, bubbling, and running like heck. It quickly quieted the others complaining about having a level 22 in the BG. :)
Jul 31st 2010 12:21AM I might've missed a day.
