Nov 15th 2011 5:48PM For me the crowning moment was heading into storm peaks, it wasn't part of the main story but I remember those quests against tha magnataur and snowbolds where you sneak into the with the goblin sappers, you kill the leader in what looks to be a standard rough cave, then I noticed a crack in the wall behind him, huge cogs and gears! I remember being baffled and intrigued. Then later, on my loaner gryffon when I flew over the plateau with that huge open chamber in the middle (can't remember the name) I was blown away, the whole zone was fascinating as at the time I had just returned to the game after skipping most of BC and played alone with no spoilers.

Nov 9th 2011 1:19AM So 1 str equals 2 attack power, what does two attack power mean? It's still a rating which indirectly modifies the damage done.
Nov 8th 2011 5:37PM I still don't see the issue, so we one day end up with the two chest pieces listed and tanks have 3M health, so what? Numbers are numbers, in general bigger ones are better. Even at level ten the numbers we have in game don't make sense so why stress over it. Say I get a ring with one intellect, it doesn't increase my mana by one or my spell damage by one, there's a hidden formula, all I need to know is more is better (and later more of which rating is better) is doesn't matter if the number is 1 or 1k.

Nov 5th 2011 5:50AM I've found (as a new priest and healer) that the early heroic phase is the worst, when levelling you knew you could handle anything exept stupid mistakes, however before you out gear them heroics are hard, especially if you get a newish or alt tank that thinks they can use the same strategies as they are used to on overgeared chars.
Nothing can beat the satisfaction of overcoming a challenge, but I've become a bit too jaded to go for the dungeon finder anymore and limit myself to helping guildies with alts.

Nov 4th 2011 1:40PM How would the 'squish' work with low level content? For example 1-60 mobs and bosses would have been 'squished' 3 times now. What would say, ragefire chasm look like now? If we were hitting 81's for 200 health would 20's only be doing 1 or 2 points of damage? That would make the early level power curve almost flat.
I'm not trying to dismiss the idea, I'd just like more detail.

If numbers get too big stick a K on the combat text.
I don't understand how bigger numbers can be 'confusing' , does it matter that a lvl 85 char has 100x the health of a lvl 60? When is that going to make a difference to gameplay? If they were trying to make old content relevant then fine, but as it stands it's surely a non-issue.
