Breakfast Topic: In-Jokes {WoW}

Jan 23rd 2010 2:51PM So my inside joke is now server-wide on the Medivh server. I started playing WoW as a hunter and my first pet I tamed was a black nightsaber I named Revan. He is perhaps the worst behaved pet of all time. I keep him on either passive or defensive but he has a habit of somehow becoming aggresive.

I was leveling (high-30s) on the pirate ships in Tanaris with a few friends and as we finsihed off another group when I realized my pet was no where to be seen. I put him on passive so he'd come back to me... followed my EVERY NPC on the damned ship, he had run to the lower decks specifically to bite one of the pirates.

That was a fun in-guild joke but once I hit 70 and started raiding our guild was deciding whether or not to merge with bladerunners. I was invited to a Magtheridon raid that was half/half of each guild. We cleared trash and had stopped before Magtheridon's room to have the raid explained over vent. Much to the dismay of everyone in the raid, the timer started and we realize Revan had charged a warlock. we run for it, trying to reset the raid before we all died.... no luck :P Fine, no big deal, one incident... until I rez'd Revan and he immediatley went back in to attack the same lock. Mind you, I never turned him on aggresive, but he still attacked on passive. By the third incident, I was told to keep him dead.

Now, many people know of this incident and shouting "Revan" in trade chat causes all sorts of memories to resurface ^_^

The Queue: The grand melee {WoW}

Dec 19th 2009 12:01PM Im a lore-nerd. When ever my guild or friends have a question on in-game events, I can usually answer them. I especially like the lore behind the dragonflights, but one thing has been bothering me. There are several types of dragonkin, the whelps which are obviously young dragons, drakes, drakonids, then the full formed dragons like Korialstraz. Are these just different segments a dragon's life cycle or is each dragon born with a purpose and bred specifically like the drakonids?
