Blizzard announces 2010 Global Writing Contest winners {WoW}

Nov 2nd 2010 3:14PM I entered in this contest, but unfortunately didn't win anything. Perhaps it had too racy a theme or had too strong of a female character for Blizzard's liking. (Sylvanas doesn't count. She's pretty much Warcraft's token battered housewife.)
^ If y'all wanna read what I submitted.

WoW Model Viewer updated for Wrath, but still needs work {WoW}

Feb 9th 2010 6:23PM Really wish a mac version were made available. Or better yet, anyone know of the models that have been extracted and are ready to just be dumped into Maya? That's what I want to use them in, after all, and piddling around with a windows program to get them to work on my mac just seems like a grand waste of time, since Parallels is a TERRIBLE program. Slows everything down, isn't very good for.........
So yeah. Maya models. That's all I want. Then I'll get some "BLIND"-style action going on.

Patch 3.3 PTR: Meet Arcturis, the newest and coolest Spirit Beast {WoW}

Dec 14th 2009 6:03AM I have Loque'nahak and Gondria on my hunter. I say screw it, be BM anyways. They're cool as hell.

The WoW comic leading into Cataclysm (spoilers) {WoW}

Nov 10th 2009 1:16AM Bringing Deathwing back won't complicate things enough for you?

About Sartharion, the Twilight Dragonflight, and Night of the Dragon: Go look up the book on WoWwiki. The book sucked. I bought it and regretted buying it. Seriously, what we got in that book was a priest who acted like a rogue and a mage and... just about everything (she even helped Rhonin speak to raptors. RAPTORS.), we had Rhonin (who was a "flame-haired" dick who acts like House but is only a fourth as brilliant), Krasus (too cool for you guys, kthx), crazy Sinestra (oh dear, she's powerful and evil), and... Vereesa (has boobs. is a woman.).
Don't bother reading it.

Med'an: This is what irks me: usually on an rp server, you get yelled at for being a crappy rper if you're "half x, a quarter y, and a quarter z." Med'an is just that, though, and that's really all I can think of him as: a crappy rper with relations to major lore figures. If he dies, so what?

Thrall: Medivh left the world, basically, because he said the world no longer needed guardians. This was intended to say something to the effect of "You know what? You guys can do anything when you work together. See? You just killed Archimonde. You can walk on your own two feet now. Kbai." The thought of having a guardian again just invokes so many thoughts in me of raid instances that won't have been possible without the help of . Kind of makes me think of Akama and Maiev in Black Temple: Akama comes in for about 30 seconds, then leaves to deal with demons incoming. Maiev comes in, claiming her justice will be done. Then runs off to her emo corner when she realizes she's been Illidan's fanboy all along. (tee-hee!) So Thrall can work out, I guess... If he doesn't, though, it'll be a bit of a blow.

The Wrathgate: This fits into this topic. The reason everyone loved the Wrathgate is that it showed us a major event that affects the game later on. It's an epic battle, you get to see Saurfang and Fordragon kick ass, then later we all get to storm the Undercity. Everyone loved that meshing of the lore with the game! Plus, it was a cool cinematic-type thing. It's when players feel they're actually seeing lore as it happens that they feel this is an awesome game. I guess what I'm thinking is there should be some sort of way for the comic book to occur in-game as well. It wouldn't even be as good as the comic book, since no one would want to bother with animating action sequences that can be drawn out without a programmer. But it would get the story across. Wouldn't that be nice?

Guess I'll get off my soap box now.

The Queue: There's more than one way to skin a worgen {WoW}

Nov 9th 2009 10:30PM I'd personally like to see any leaks of female worgen. Tired of all these male worgen. Call me a furry all you like, but damn, that halloween mask looked GOOD!

All the World's a Stage: Possibilities for worgen and goblins {WoW}

Aug 14th 2009 4:33AM Oh come on, I bet you guys don't even play on RP servers... Why the hissy fit?
I'll be happy if they're in the next expansion, and if they're not, then oh well. *shrug* I was looking forward to changing my NE druid girl's dance to the troll females' dance, but hey, I'm still unsatisfied! D:

Be satisfied, or not. Doesn't matter.
