Mar 1st 2012 7:52AM I would add:
For anyone solo defending a base in AB or BFG- Stand as far away from the flag cap as your longest ranged ability will allow you to target someone and hit them. If you stand right on the flag, you stand to lose your base to the lonesome rogue that you know is there. If you are on the flag and get sapped, the rogue will start to cap the base. You trinket the sap to stop him, and then you get blinded and he caps the base anyway.
When you stand away from the flag, you can wait for sap to wear off and spam a damage ability near the end of the timer to stop the cap. If he blinds you then, your trinket is ready to go to break blind.
Mar 1st 2012 7:47AM It's not that it's always bad. Road fighting is situational.
Sometimes (When you have a base/point lead, or you can dismount the person you know is the EFC before they get to your base) road fighting is the right call. You still have to be able to see your defense point, and be able to get there and stop a cap quickly, but sometimes it works.
The reason you see it so much is that fighting at the flag is a better thing most of the time, and it is much easier to type out in the heat of a big battle. People tend to tunnel vision, and won't notice sneaky folks taking their flag from them. If you are fighting on the flag, incidental AOE will stop a lot of flag caps.
Good luck in your Battlegrounds. (Unless you are an Alliance. :P)
Feb 29th 2012 7:20PM I can't speak for other healers, but:
I personally love it when I get trained. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling to know that I am that big of a threat, that the whole Alliance team will try (lol Paladin) to stomp on little 'ol me. I love it when I see so many people playing correctly (even when they are the opposition.)
Plus, I get a short break, a chance to review the map/scoreboard to determine where I need to go, and some time to flirt with the Spirit Healer. She's hot.
Jan 23rd 2012 12:57PM To be fair, Mat did attend law school.
For a lawyerish type this is short.
Jan 3rd 2012 8:43AM I only have 1 max level chharacter, so my Holy Pally is me main. I have alts of all the classes scattered around the lands of Azeroth at various levels, and maybe someday they will be big boys (or girls).
But when they get there, my Pally will still be my main. :D
