Breakfast Topic: Your favorite lines of spoken dialogue {WoW}

Sep 9th 2009 10:35AM 5-man ToC Paletress always sounded pretty cool to me. "Take this time to remember your past deeds." She's characterized pretty well, I think.

The Brann event in HoS is cool, although it was a few runs before I actually started to 'get' all of it.

Oh, and "How can it be? ... Flesh is not! ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Stronger!" is a running joke amidst us.

Hunter thoughts on the Patch 3.2.2 Armor Penetration nerf {WoW}

Sep 9th 2009 10:19AM I wish they'd nerf it into not being on every piece of DPS mail... I'm an Enh Shaman, and since we're supposed to wear hunter gear, I wind up with a fair amount of armor pen, even though it's a HORRIBLE stat for Enhance shammies (50% spell damage). Maybe they'll stop putting it on everything.

I'd say I can't wait for cataclysm, but then the hunter gear isn't going to have intellect on it. My class is going to get dizzied up so the lot of you can stop using mana... hope you appreciate it. *grin*

Joystiq interviews J. Allen Brack {WoW}

Sep 5th 2009 12:25PM That's kind of developer shorthand. In software development a project is completed in "iterations," meaning you do a small pass of writing code to make something functional, then you start again to add something ("iterating"), then again, and so forth.

In this context he means they've improved and advanced their method and vision of quests.

Lichborne: What Cataclysm might mean for Death Knights {WoW}

Aug 31st 2009 9:43AM Personally, I think they should add the crit immunity to Frost Presence. That would decouple it from talents and allow DK tanking in any tree. I don't think there's any other solution that would allow them to maintain both no-defense gear and tanking in any tree.

All the World's a Stage: Reflections on the passing of a roleplayer's mom {WoW}

Aug 17th 2009 7:42AM I, too, would like to extend my deepest condolences. Losing a loved one is never easy, and one's parents specifically leave a rather large hole. I hope all of us ten million WoW players can fill it a little bit for you. That you saw fit to share it with us in such a personal manner speaks highly of you indeed, and you have my gratitude -- for the writing, and for the emotion.

First post in over a year of reading this site. This made it time, I guess.
