Mar 5th 2010 10:21AM A nerf on the horizon for Paladin tanks yet again. My tanking partner, a warrior holds AOE threat just as well as I do, in fact I cannot pull threat off of him using HoJ and Conc because he knows how to AoE tank as a Warrior. Yes it requires you to press TAB and pay attention to you threat meter of choice something that will take time to learn..
GC et Blizzard need to stop accommodating for the retards of the community who need things made easier in order to enjoy the game. They are slowly filtering out the veteran players/guilds and turning wow into an Arcade game with an enjoyment time comparable to that of console games.
With each change to my character I'm feeling less inclined to play it, I'm sure that isn't the effect Blizzard want to give but they need to draw a line under this and move onto making changes that are necessary (i.e. the state of Druid tanks).
Don't get me wrong, I like and enjoy wow, I just hate the needless tinkering being done to classes every patch. Blizzard could spend more time forecasting potential problems and save time and upsetting their player base, something I hope they do with Cataclysm. I'm not yet convinced Cataclysm will be better it might just be "different".
No doubt there will be no formal patch notes to accompany the incoming nerf..
Mar 4th 2010 7:23AM Please do!
Exalted = 1200 captures or 400 wins, a huge effort for players who split their time between PvE and PvP.
Feb 25th 2010 4:45AM That would make perfect sense but last patch Paladins had Sacred Duty (hidden nerf) scaled down to better balance us with other tanks. Tinkering a warriors tree and increasing their stamina % is just insulting.
Feb 23rd 2010 12:49PM I don't think there is a solution in restricting players; removing immediate choices is a bad idea for any game. As requested by Ghengi, there needs to be a better way to destinguish 10 man progress from 25 man progress and a suitable solution has been provided.
Next on the agenda is Legendaries! ;]
Feb 23rd 2010 12:42PM First thing that comes to mind is player selection, if you're a 25 player guild doing 10 man content you can take you 10 most competent members and "faceroll" the content.
The stats prove the facts, there are more 25 man guilds progressing at speed through 10 man content then there are 10 man guilds.
Feb 19th 2010 5:29AM There are two ways I thought of replying to your comment..
1) Attempt to turn this into a light hearted discussion about a possible typo
2) Continue with the condesending dicussion we've managed to get into
I'll go with 1) because I feel that I was a little too direct with my initial comment. I put my hands up, I could have constructed it a lot more respectfully and perhaps it would have been recieved better.
I'm still right though, Paladins are able to remove them.
Also, if your readers scan read you should take that into consideration not tell them off for it :P
I hope this is recieved better then my last comment and appoligise if I've given you a headache.
Feb 19th 2010 4:59AM "They are unable to remove physical snares such as Hamstring and Wing Clip, so bother them with that if you must."
You are talking about Paladins right? Last time I checked Paladins had Hand of Freedom, admittedly the last time I played my Paladin was yesterday...
Feb 17th 2010 12:05PM I'm glad you mentioned these details :]
btw, "Druids face more competition for gear than any other tank." - The other tanks compete against each other for gear.... I think its safe to say the other tanks face more competition for gear.
