As a big ancient history buff, I really enjoyed "River God" by Wilbur Smith. If you're in any way interested in ancient Egypt, it's a fantastic read.

I got the AP but wasn't really considering doing the beta, but recently I've been thinking I may give it a go. I've never beta tested anything and didn't know how some of the nuts and bolts worked. When you get the invite, do you have a specific time frame in which to participate, or do you have access until the testing period is over?
Mar 19th 2012 1:26PM Were you able to go through either of the updated old world dungeons? If so, what were your impressions? Were there any big changes?

Mar 13th 2012 3:59PM I'm happy I'm not the only one who feels this way. Yeah, I'm excited that I have the option of checking out the beta, but I kind of like the lead-up to an expansion's release without having any previous experience, aside from videos and info other people post. I don't want to feel like I've spoiled the experience.
On a side note (and possible Q4tQ), after looking at the newly released MoP screenshot, can we expect a good-sized graphical jump like with Cataclysm? My computer currently runs Cata on low perfectly fine. I can boost things like particle density and shadow quality up to Fair, but I'd rather enjoy a smoother game on low. Will I start seeing some choppiness when MoP comes out, even on low?
Feb 23rd 2012 3:38PM Q for the Que: I went back and watched some of the BlizzCon 2011 preview panel and saw where Ghostcrawler joked about the lack of a female Pandaren model at that point. If I recall, they had trouble with the worgen female model before Cata's release as well. Why does Blizzard have trouble with female character models? Are they somehow harder to create?

Feb 21st 2012 4:43PM And I imagine a yak mount being like the Tusken Raiders riding banthas, :D
Feb 21st 2012 4:42PM I like the frog idea, but I'd put my money on the Yak. Just seems to be more "mount-y".
