Dec 14th 2010 11:59AM i personally think a solution to the shaman mastery problem would be to make ancestral awakening, the mastery bonus. Drop the crit portion and say a flat number (like 35%) has a chance to proc ancestral spirit, you summon an ancestral spirit to aid you, instantly healing the lowest percentage health friendly party or raid target withing 40 yards for 10% of the amount healed. Each Point in mastery increases the effect heal by 2%.
also they could place a talent in ancestral awakening's place that is deep healing, giving us more heals based on the amount of the deficit the target has.
This in my opinion would make the resto shaman's mastery more attractive as a stat
