Apr 4th 2012 11:18AM I love my Tol Barad fox kit. It took over 2000 kils to get it to drop, but well worth it. He dances and plays..like a combo of a kitten and a puppy.
Mar 24th 2012 2:16PM Thank you for the insightful article! An air of derision has discouraged many a new roleplayer, new raider, new tank, and new healer across the WoW universe. Yes, the elite players deserve respect. But newer players, and even players who are seasoned but who are trying to master a new role or new class, also deserve consideration. The more we can all help one another, the more our game world will flourish.
Mar 23rd 2012 2:44PM I really agree, Khirsah! I was never able to really get caught up with gear, since I did not have time early in the Cata expansion to push through the very difficult 5 mans. By the time I got those done, even the entry level raids were full of people pulling 25k dps. MoP is a reset, and a chance to find new and interesting aspects of the game.
Mar 23rd 2012 2:34PM As a very casual player, I am looking forward to the options of non-raid content in MoP. Frankly, Cata has been a frustration. Even trying the Raid Finder, supposedly an option for less hardcore players to experience content, I just ran into a lot of regular raiders playing the RF when their guilds were not running. They still massively outgear the casual player, and they still badmouth those of us who are not as "leet". I am very excited about having a lot of other interesting things in MoP: scenarios, Pokemon, new quests, fun landscapes. Thank you Blizzard, for remembering that casual players are customers too!
Mar 19th 2012 5:05PM How cool! There is no reason not to try this out!!!
Mar 12th 2012 3:08PM I wish you the best of luck with your guild idea!!! There is really a need for guilds that will serve those of us who want to learn raiding in a more casual and non-judgmental environment. My guild has that orientation too..we are very small, not at all "leet", but we have fun together and we are learning at our own pace. We found that teaming up with another small, learner-friendly guild for raid night has helped us find the 10-25 people that we need for the raids (since we don't have critical mass alone). You might try that..find a friend in another guild, and see if he/she can help out.
Mar 7th 2012 12:30PM The only toons that I have deleted were a warrior and a DK. The warrior just seemed too slow in the starting area, and I never took her past level 6. The DK lore simply annoyed me. On the other hand, I have 6 pallies, 3 at 85, and most of them are prot/ret.
Feb 22nd 2012 1:34PM I spent months killing foxes in Tol Barad to get the fox kit. Every day..over and over. After thousands of foxes I was ready to give up, thinking they must have removed the drop from the game, when it finally dropped! This is the cutest pet I own, and he will be my favorite companion.
Feb 3rd 2012 2:23PM My main, a blood elf paladin, had to get plastic surgery to bob her ears and pass as human to play with some friends who insisted on being Alliance. She really wants to be herself..and to still play with her Alliance guild. I honestly believe that blood elves should be neutral like the pandaren..after all, we were once with the Alliance.
