Apr 13th 2011 9:53PM To help with the boring side of fishing, there is an addon/script that lets you physically cast and hook the lure using a Wii remote; a similar app exists for the iPhone as well. This at least makes it feel a little different to click casting a million times

But means you'll probably find it harder to watch videos/play Bejewelled at the same time ;)

See El's Angling for more info (and for a handy guide to leveling both fishing and cooking at the same time): http://www.elsanglin.com/automation.html

Gold Capped: Patch 4.1 and Maelstrom Crystals {WoW}

Mar 28th 2011 8:49PM The difference between the new ZA/ZG dungeons and the ToC dungeon that crashed the Abyss Crystal market in Wrath, is that (on top of what Basil noted re: the short, boss-heavy nature of ToC) ToC was released in normal AND heroic modes, that both dropped epic gear. AFAIK ZA and ZG will be heroic only, so that it will be impossible to just spam chain-run them for infinite Maelstroms.

Sep 24th 2010 2:55AM What will be interesting with the new Resilience will be its effect on health pools. By reducing incoming damage it will essentially increase the 'Effective Health' of a player (much like armor does for tanks) who might already have a massive (80-100k) health pool.

The Light and How to Swing It: Protection in patch 4.0.1 {WoW}

Sep 15th 2010 8:06PM @osdeath - you can't use both CS and HotR on single target fights to get Holy Power more quickly as *they share a cooldown*. That is, if you CS you can't then immediately HotR until the 4.5s CD is up.

And since HotR currently only deals 30% weapon damage vs CS dealing 100% weapon damage (to the primary target) it will likely not generate enough threat on a single target.

Either way we'll be waiting 14 seconds until we can pop a full 3HP 'finisher'.

Aug 17th 2010 10:32PM From personal experience in litigation (specifically involving bankruptcy) one generally makes a damages claim for the highest amount allowed in the relevant jurisdiction. Courts (in Australia) are extremely unlikely to ever award damages higher than what you've asked for, so it makes sense to ask for the highest possible amount, and let the court whittle it down from there.

In terms of making such a massive costs order against Reeves personally, Blizzard may enforce this money as a judgement debt against her (debt -in these circumstances- doesn't equal lien). If she refuses to pay, they may file a bankruptcy notice against her. If she still cannot make the payment owed to Blizzard, then she has committed an act of bankruptcy, and Blizzard has the right to make a creditors' petition, which (if successful) will lead to a court making a sequestration order against Reeves. At this point, a trustee is appointed to the bankrupt's estate, and basically everything she owns can and will be sold off to go towards paying off her debt to Blizzard, including many assets she may have owned within the last few years (the time varies). This could include Scapegaming (if she owned it at some point).

Reader UI of the Week: Skippah's UI {WoW}

Jul 14th 2010 7:46PM AFAIK ShadowedUF lets you set up various different raid frame arrangements depending on what size raid you're in. So that when I zone into WG/AV the raid frames a tiny and unobtrusive, but in my 10mans they are 'normal-sized'.

And my three would be Vuhdo, Power Auras and DBM.

@JibJub Isn't mea culpa a Latin phrase for 'my fault'? So it's probably the oldest phrase here...
