Jan 27th 2011 8:42PM Extra Credit Bonus Stage is seriously easy, with the caveat that you have to pay attention *if* you're getting tossed around by the tornadoes on Altairus. Sure, you're supposed to avoid them (and should!) but if you do get tossed, look for a shiny floating orb and right click it. There are two, and you need them both. Without some kind of flight (levitation?), you can't grab them without the tornado toss. The other three orbs are sitting along the side of some of the ramps, two more where the wind orbs you have to shoot to get by are. Those, once there's no wind to push you back, you can just jump off the ledge and spam your click on the globes. Those other three can be grabbed once the dungeon is clear, also.

A quick note on No Static at All... jump mechanics in the game are really touchy. It's probably variable for each player due to their individual lag, but you can be clearly in the air and still get Static Cling (or hit by Quake). This one is easy to get, yes, but subject to BS forces beyond your control.

Shifting Perspectives: The 4.0.1 balance rotation {WoW}

Since my druid was my 4th 80, I collected mostly "spec-neutral" ilevel 264 leather (resto/balance dual spec), that could be viable for either spec. With 4.0.1, due to the spirit to hit coversion talent, I find my balance spec has +35% to hit, double what is needed. For now, until eventually leveling up to 85, would it be best to just take one point in that talent, or should I reforge some of my gear? My druid is mostly called on to heal, but there are places where less healers are needed (Saurfang, for example), so I wouldn't want to mess with the gear so much that it hurts my resto spec. Or, should I just leave it be, and be way over the hit cap for the time being, when called on to be a boomchicken? Or any other solution?

Oct 15th 2010 12:44PM To your question on the interrupt, it shouldn't matter, at this point. This came up as our random last night and the boss was dead after about 14 seconds, or so. He had just begun casting his first transformation, got interrupted by any number of sources, and was dead in the next couple seconds. This, with people still generally just mashing buttons to see what their toons could do. We followed this by going into regular ToC 10, where we found about 7 minutes of total in-combat time, including a 55-second kill of Anub'arak. Yeah, things aren't right at level 80, currently.
