Jan 19th 2010 8:22AM Absolutely should be upgraded! I would much rather sacrifice a few moons and some spell detail (especially the dreaded computer crash from mass aoe and 7 dks popping army simultaneously) to make my beautiful draenei even more perky! Seriously - I'm a woman and even I think they are hot... definitely think about that while climbing that stairmaster - just want my butt to bounce like hers!! Ok back to the topic - Wow really is dress-up for adults. Of course we have the pew pew and the facesmashing awesomeness - but what is that without being able to look proudly at our characters in shiny new tier gear and go wow... now that looks freaking sweet.
Oct 13th 2009 1:33PM Need a little advice - the only way now it seems to protect your account is to get an Authenticator. I know already from the loss of 2 accounts from this type of hack that it is necessary. The whole reason I enjoy WoW is that it can be played from anywhere and unite myself and my friends from all over the world in a fun activity.
So - how to people in the 3rd world obtain an Authenticator?
Oct 13th 2009 1:16PM Thank you for the tip! I also recommend for those queasy stomachs out there - you can also turn off the "death effect" via UI settings. It saves a lot of lag and headaches during those progression raids (or if you're a squishy leveler).
Oct 13th 2009 1:06PM One of the reasons I play WoW is that it is an international game. All you need is internet and an account and off you go - no matter where you are. Problem is, with this merge we who live outside of the developed world will be even further exposed to hacks. Authenticators are NOT sold everywhere!! I've already had 2 accounts shut down because I signed in in a different country than the US (never to be seen again, thx Blizz). Will this game ever be internationally friendly again??

Aug 29th 2009 9:57PM Let us read and let us dance.. two amusements that will never do any harm to the world!
Aug 25th 2009 6:29AM Battle.net has caused nothing but problems for me. One of my accounts was associated with a Battle.net account by a hacker and I have been unable to retrieve it (3 months and counting now...) Blizz says Battle.net overrides any info on the regular WoW account management. So, to avoid any future problems, I registered my other games on Battle.net. Since then I have been able to mange/ upgrade/ change any information. Any link I click on simply takes me to the "Select a Game Account to Manage" page - when I select the account, it just refreshes the "Select a Game Account to Manage" page. I can't do anything!
