Oct 7th 2011 9:00AM As they say in project runway, "it's just too literal." I like it but for mogging purposes i want my hunter to look a little more feral, more of the "i have slept in the wild for as long as i can remember" type of feel.
Jul 27th 2011 1:11PM so am i the only person that doesn't like the Guild? I only watched the first episode (season...) but it just felt like they didn't push the parody/satire far enough. i don't think i'm saying it felt too realistic, rather it didn't feel outrageous enough.
Jul 12th 2011 10:15AM on my hunter, i like to match my vanity pet to my hunter pet (even better when i can match them both to my mount). so speedy hangs out with my turtle pet and i'll at least mount up on my sea turtle for a while. my cenarion hatchling is always out when i'm on my cenarion hippogryph. as lame as it is, i have a sporebat to go with my sporeling (love them both so much!). and so on and so on. i cant wait for blizz to add a tiger cub vanity pet to go with my swift zulian tiger and the first pet i ever tamed, an orange tiger from the troll isles. for now, the orange tabby will have to do.
to echo Cetha, whenever i play my worgen i make sure i "unmount" before talking to npcs. looks weird otherwise.
Jul 6th 2011 1:55PM Sadly it doesnt work for achievements. I helped a random grp of ppl bring down one of the elites needed for the fiery lords achievement and didnt get credit. Really wish they would change that as it takes more than one person to bring them down and who has time to search for and make a party when the rest of the zone wants to tag the same guy?
Jul 5th 2011 2:23PM I've been leveling four alts through the revamped zones, all different classes and i dual spec them as soon as i can and switch between specs every five levels (got a disc/shadow priest, prot/fury warrior, ret/holy paladin, and afflic/destro warlock) and whenever it came time to putting talent points in, no matter what class or spec, i noticed that there were always times when i had to spend one or two, sometimes even three points, on talents that would NOT benefit me at that moment or in the next few levels. it seems strange to me that there is this rather huge oversight with respect to the trees and leveling where the two just do not match up. so it's definitely not a hunter issue.
i've also noticed this on my shaman that i recently dusted off (lvl 75). i have a higher level shaman so i know what to expect and where to put points (where they won't be useful until level 80 or higher). but, yes, i wish they would mesh the leveling experience with the talent trees just a little bit more. new players must be even more confused at that.
Jun 24th 2011 8:35AM i'm probably too late for anyone to read this but: anyone ever notice that in the daily quest to save Pebble, his title under his name actually says "< player's name >'s Guardian"? I've always thought that was adorable, that he's actually protecting you! I love how he has the elemental animations for fighting whenever you fight something. Haven't tried fighting something since I got him as a pet to see if he still does it.
@Hob: that's pretty funny :)
May 16th 2011 10:17PM For the "other games" section i would like to suggest Radio Free Nintendo podcast at the Nintendo World Report website. The hosts are phenomenal, smart and funny and they work really well together. Its not all nintendo talk either.
Apr 29th 2011 6:39PM i'd be interested in seeing cloth, leather, and mail sets that actually resemble the material they're supposed to be made out of...how exactly are they making cloth shoulders that are as tall as a human head? chicken wire? and plate skirts make sense how, exactly?
Apr 12th 2011 9:18AM he could have two accounts
Feb 17th 2011 8:15AM it's like that episode of Community where they're playing D&D. hilarious episode but obviously the rules of the game go out the window (no one rolling die was a bit lame). still a funny episode.
i have nowhere to go with this story, just made me think of that episode and how funny it was.
