Sep 22nd 2010 5:15AM I'm sad you didn't mention the fact that Swipe/Trash still does more dmg than Lacerate but due to the higher rage cost we can only use them when we're above 60 rage,(since technically maul does more dmg than swipe/trash for the same 30 rage), also since we're useing Lacerate a lot now we're clipping the DoT a lot, yet the berseks proc still occurs quite frequently, which I dont get at all
Unless they implemented a way for the last tick of a dot to occur even after refreshing the DoT to avoid clipping issues and forgot to add notes for it in the Combat log than its all good, otherwise I dont know wtf is going on.
Sep 15th 2010 12:35PM The default spec you have given has a few mistakes.
First off primal madness is a useless talent, atm it give u 20 extra energy and than takes them back after Tiger's Fury wears off, unless TF wears off when you have less than 20 energy than it has no benefit, in its current state to get full use you would need to execute your rotation perfectly(and would need to have 1-20 latency) otherwise it ends up being wasted.
Explained in more detail in
On the 9th post(of the 1st page on that thread), by Dsvjkbdvbjkd
Fury Swipes has been calculated to give a 1.2% dps increase, so utterly useless tbh, rather take thick hides of infected wounds for some utility.
Something like this would be better I think
Jul 24th 2010 8:06AM probbly just some badly copied version of dreamstate.
Jul 24th 2010 8:04AM [quote]There are caveats, as always. For example, you cannot get the same Eclipse proc twice in a row, so once you get back to the middle, you are forced to go to the other side. You can, however, retain the Eclipse buff should you choose to do that. For example, if you proc a Lunar Eclipse to buff your Arcane damage, casting Wrath will still push the Eclipse bar back toward the Lunar side of the bar, thus allowing you to technically hold out on the buff for the full 45 seconds before choosing to drop it. Whether we'll end up gaming the system in this manner, or if Blizzard will change it, is yet to be seen. I can see the potential for holding on to the Eclipse buff for as long as possible, but whether you would want to do so would depend on quite a large number of factors. More likely than not, unless it gets changed to prevent this from occurring, you will want to increase the duration for just a little bit; it's doubtful that you'll be pushing the bar all the way back to the end again. We shall see what the future holds though, after more testing can be done.
I dont see how holding up the Arcane Eclipse buff for the majority of the 45 sec could be useful in any situation, if you got the lunar eclipse you now have 20% more arcane damage, and the faster you use that and get a solar eclipse the better, because if u dont use it ur wasting 20% damage buff for that time frame,
The only possible use I can see is if you need to burst a lot for the next few seconds(eg boss enrages below 10%) and so you don't want to be stuck between eclipse procs( aka you just got to middle recently and so are building up for the next eclipse) so you use the opposite type of dmg to wait for the prime moment.
Whether this will be used a lot we shall have to see but would be interesting. Specially if we get a lot of short duration burst down moments.
Jul 18th 2010 10:18PM You forgot to mention mumble servers r A LOT cheaper to host.
Jul 15th 2010 7:19PM Any Idea how the Gryphoon is flying Under Water?!
Jul 9th 2010 11:22PM Forgot To Mention that I put in a 10% buff so that you could still increase for damage a little bit during example lvling or trash pulls when adds might die too fast to get full benefit of Eclipse.
